NoBilly Tightshirt by any chance?
If we had any ambition, we'd do both. When I went for a wee before the game I heard a bloke say "I'd rather piss on t'floor and have a decent striker"
Surprisingly, no. It was Dean Windass.Billy Tightshirt by any chance?
Seriously I wonder if any of our male fans - especially older fans - were consulted on this before they went ahead?Utter woke nonsense. Orderly queuing in a line for 16 minutes because society deems no cock shaming. Bring back the stainless pisser. World's gone crackers.
Post was a bit tongue in cheek. The refit looked quite smart but the waiting time was ridiculous, especially if you've been for a few pints before.Seriously I wonder if any of our male fans - especially older fans - were consulted on this before they went ahead?
I haven't seen the new SS bogs but it stands to reason that if you replace a long communal urinal with individual urinals, fewer people can take a piss at any given time.
Are long, shared urinals unfashionable these days? Are they more expensive? Most modern toilets seem to favour the queue / individual piss experience.
sounds like getting piss in at half time is about as feasible as getting a pint then now unless you go in earlyPost was a bit tongue in cheek. The refit looked quite smart but the waiting time was ridiculous, especially if you've been for a few pints before.
Surely less messy.Seriously I wonder if any of our male fans - especially older fans - were consulted on this before they went ahead?

And if you're desperate there's always the sinkSurely less messy.
Less distance/time for wee to reach urinal than trench, speeding things up?!!
Maybe less stage fright? Suspect see more people taking ages when squeezed in.
Anyway, doubt we can afford to change them back. Ever.
Tbh, I went for a piss about half way through half time and it was no different to how it used to be.sounds like getting piss in at half time is about as feasible as getting a pint then now unless you go in early
Good shout - we could have a knockout competition over the season. Longest pisser wins.Who said its only one at a time per urinal?
Always a lottery. Just need to be patient.Got in, picked a lane and I had 2 or 3 blokes in front of me
Or a strategically placed long urinal that folks can squash up & piss in?Always a lottery. Just need to be patient.
The mind boggles at the thought of sharing @D1360
Maybe a strategically placed emergency bucket for the desperate![]()
It was the reason why he was left out of the squad for the 2003 play off final at Cardiff.Surprisingly, no. It was Dean Windass.
This is the problem with modern life. All innovation is usually over complicated.Or a strategically placed long urinal that folks can squash up & piss in?
Just an idea there……
Likewise. Must have too much time or my hands.I’m spending far too much time on this thread but one thing the new format cuts out is people taking up more than their fair share of the urinal.
I use the bogs at the bottom of Gangway A and where there was space for 4 at one of the troughs, there were regularly only 3 pissing due to size or manspreading.
Plus, some folk seem to take an age from the end-of-piss-tremble to actually leaving the urinal. They must shake it, wring it out, spin it round, tuck it in, dress it to the correct side, then fasten up their buttons slowly, adjust their belt, take a deep breath, check their change and then turn round to leave.
Bog etiquette - queue, power-piss, tuck & turn, sort the rest out on your way out.
as you get older that often becomes less of an option , probably why it's so slow on the south standI’m spending far too much time on this thread but one thing the new format cuts out is people taking up more than their fair share of the urinal.

That's why Pitsmoor Pig's joggers are piss stainedI’m spending far too much time on this thread but one thing the new format cuts out is people taking up more than their fair share of the urinal.

The worst football toilet I ever saw was at Southend United's ground - so bad I took a photo of it (empty at the time) - but can't find it now!Not sure taking photos in toilets is a great idea
Indeed. It was the reason why he was left out of the squad for the 2003 play off final at Cardiff.
Whilst a student in Sheffield (1970s) I shared a 2nd floor flat. One lunchtime I went back to the flat and saw the landlord's car outside. Walking upstairs we could hear him in our kitchen - as we entered we found him peeing in the sink! He didn't bat an eyelid and assured us urine was sterileSinks always an option
My preference, actually. Perfect height for avoiding splashes on your trousers. And if you're desperate there's always the sink
