Today's team

We have a squad of players for a reason, nothing wrong with that selection in my eyes. Hoping to see Lavery & Scougall impress today

Let's hope Sharp and Lavery are able to be creative for themselves as I don't see much creativity in midfield without Duffy and Coutts.

Maybe one to dig out a gritty ugly win today, was very confident this morning, not so sure now looking at the side.. however in Wilder I trust.

Wasn't it home to bury when scougs was brought off at half time for Clarke? He'd been having a good game and missed his creativity when he came off. I reckon today sits nicely for him to carry the can.

Don't see the logic in bring Mcnulty into the team, he wasn't wanted and has done nothing at Bradford. Watch him come on and get an important goal!

do people not realise that they have only had a day or 2 to recover? chill, some people cant play every fucking game

Expected to see some changes but this is a bit more than I'd have liked. Missing both Coutts and Duffy could be a stretch. Happy to see Lavery get the nod, unhappy to see McNulty back at the club. Expecting some panic if we don't win.

Last match Bury won was on the 27th Sept, although with the Blades, I ain't gonna read too much into that........

I would give this team 60 mins to provide. If not then swap Mcjumper for Lavery or Sharp as well as Coutts and Duffy for Bash and scooooooogs to give them 30 mins to make an impact.

Bury may be a tough test today but hope the pace of scooooogs and Lavery can tear them a new one and then Duffy and Coutts to pick them off :)

UTB!

Duffy on the bench is a blow as he's involved with everything. Scougs has given me faith when I've seen him tho this season. It's a big game today for him - needs to be our magician.

Lavery will offer more movement than Clarke so hopeful we're going to offer plenty of threat.

I don't think Scougall can play like Duffy. Play won't go through him, but he'll be much better at joining attacks and offering a goal threat.

The only concern is how we move the ball without Duffy and Coutts in order to get into the positions Scougall can threaten from.

That is a very "surprising" line up.

Scougs has done well since his return to the club but he is no Duffy though, He is a completely different type of player, not sure who is going to be the link up man between midfield and attack today.

Leon Clarke injured? Didn't look injured when he was subbed the other day (apart from the cringe worthy fake injury after missing a sitter). I think Leon's time is up.

I'd have thought that Brooks might get a look in if we're resting both Coutts and Duffy.

Some rotation was always likely with 2 games in 3 days. It is shame to lose Coutts and Duffy for the same game but both tire in games so it's no surprise that they are rested. We'll need Lavery and Fleck to have good games today and for Bash and Scougall to provide the energy for the high press. Glad to see my preferred back 3 playing.

Who else would you have played to rest Coutts without 'shoe horning' Basham in?
I can't agrue with that pal..... Reed i guess is the next player in line but,,,,,, well you know what i mean.

I think a new midfielder will be in quickly to give us 3 each game from Duffy, Fleck, Coutts and a New Signing.

With EEL, Wright, JO and Wilson giving us 3 from 4 at the back i can only see Basham played less and less.

Unless he is squeezed in.

Is anyone who went able to give a report on how the re-arranged team actually played?
Especially with regard to the lesser possession ratio.
Were we still good to watch?????
