I seem to remember Hammond himself being guilty of that crime you mention in your last sentence, in an interview soon after joining.

Should've been informed by the media team, that includes everyone connected in some form with our club.
I'll add another thing, taken from a recent Paul Scholes comment.

Stop tweeting. We don't want to hear apologies or read that "you are sorry" .. just play and give us 100%.
Stop apologizing. Start winning!

Flag any of the above up and let's see who's the chief culprit(s).

Makelele was very good at winning the bal and giving it to someone who could do something with it. Whereas Monty was very good at winning the ball and then giving it straight back to the opposition. Vieira and Keane were very good at winning the ball and then doing something with it themselves. I think WWF means Hammond is good at the same things as Makalele but at a much lower level. A bit like Doyle was.

Much much lower. Makelele was a master in that position. Unfair comparison really although I doubt WHF would think so.

Don't forget Monty could also stroke 40 yard passes straight over our players heads and into touch when in the mood.

But remember that one game against Blackpool at home when he turned into David Beckham? Smashed one in from the edge of the box. Put a pinpoint cross in for another. Where did that come from?
