I know, just wanted to make my position clear
My first post sounded slightly critical of Weir but like you I'm realistic and feel he needs plenty of time to sort this mess out.

CUT Agree on Bradford and I thought they weren't very good in general. Nahki Wells is their only real threat.
Yes I do believe he did. I also think winning promotion from any division is harder nowadays. Taking nothing away from the job Harry did.

It wasn't inevitable at all. If memory serves, we were not in the relegation zone when Bassett took over. I think Bassett himself later said that he tried to change things too quickly when he became manager and it was that upheavel that led to relegation.
Would we have got promotion out of the second division if we hadn't had a season in the third division to gel the players together and build up the momentum?
I wasn't having a dig at "Harry" - just thinking how we had some great years after we were relegated back then and I was thinking that the same might happen under DWII
