I won't even be able to listen to it. I'll be playing cricket - so I'll probably get a view of the score on my mobile between 4 and 4.30 and not have chance to worry about it until it's all over. As it was how I experienced Leicester in 1990 (another stinking hot day) I can only dream.

There isn't even anyone else around remotely interested in the game, so I also have the option of pretending it didn't happen (at least until I come back on here).

Said this a few times on other threads, but I'll be having a BBQ with the missus, our labrador and couple of friends.

Weather looks great, TV and surround sound has just arrived in Switzerland this week so will be steaks, beers, red wine (barolo tomorrow), champagne and a rather fine Cognac

Can't deny that I want to be there, but also glad that I'm not if/ when it all crumbles.

Ihave said all season long that if we got to the play-off final I wasn't going and although I desperately want to be there I'm not going to change it for fear of the hex!

I daren't - if I did some bastards would put in performances and nick my number 5 and opening bowling slot. Plus we're going for back-to-back promotions and we're playing the pre-season favorites.

Doesn't matter how much I love the Blades, I'd always much rather play than watch someone else do it and I've reached the age where I might not be able to do it at a competitive level for too much longer.

Ill be watching it at NEWQUAY AFC football club at beautiful downtown mount wise. To which i might add we won the league this season, 100% away record an only lost twice at home.
Plus we play in red an white stripes. I went to the Exeter game....................oh dear.
Newquay could have beat Exeter........lol.

Same here mate.
I decided when I came out of Wembley after the Burnley defeat I couldn't face another play off game. Like most people on here ,I have seen us lose three times at Wembley and once at the Millenium stadium.
I greatly admire the ones who are taking in this "5th" game and all the "newbies" who will enjoy it immensely and are right to go. I for want of a better word have "bottled" it and I am to scared to go.
I have rationalised the fact that I would sooner be at home and us win than be there and see us lose again.
I cannot even face to watch on tv,wbich I think would be harder to do.
So I am off to Derbyshire with Mrs Alien , a good book and a picnic. My phone will be left in the car and around 5.40pm allowing for extra time and penalties I will return and find out our fate.
Hopefully you guys will be laughing at me and celebrating from the 35th minute when Quinny's 2nd puts us 4-0 up !!!
