Time to drop the direct approach ?

Its not working. With the players we have, it won’t work.

While Don can possibly do the job of a target man, now we have a better balance in midfield, and overall a strong midfield, I want us to go back to the approach when we were effectively using our midfield. After all, it was working and working well. Yes we had to transition after the loss of Coutts, but we have moved on.

This would enable all of our strikers to benefit from better service. From this, let the five of them fight it out for the 4 match day slots, 2 starters, 2 on bench.

We do seem to be trying to play the right way, the way that has been successful, but rather than persist or continue to probe we are getting to halftime without scoring, then sides are setting up to counter

It’s a problem...
