Time to bin the codgers

Chedders - if you insist on going through life making ridiculous judgements on people you know nothing about and hurling abuse around like confetti based on comments like mine then you're destined to lead a very sad life. You need to lighten up, and in order to avoid someone taking serious objection to your infantile behaviour get yourself back to school to learn some manners and respect - how on earth can you support and defend a poster who claims to be a Blade yet refers to our strikers as "codgers". We are 1 point off the playoffs after coming out of League 1 - Jeeez... where are folks like you and your mate Stephen Lee coming from? No more on this from me - continue to vent your spleen on me and our failing players, then hop off to S6.........

I haven't commented on the "codgers", I've just called you out for making snidey comments without respectfully bringing a constructive argument to the op.
You simply said it's bollocks and they shouldn't start threads. Who are you to say that?
Go on, go back to the beginning, press reply to the original post and say something constructive. Or you just going to stand by your snidey comments?

Isn’t it obvious he didn’t play yesterday because CW wanted to play a solid three rather than a 2 and a 1 behind, like he did at Wednesday and Norwich away for two (which were two of the best performances of the season, coincidentally). And it was hardly a saga - they missed out on him in the summer and then got him in January. Doesn’t mean he has to play every single game

He's hardly played at all. Consider this for a moment: United operate on a limited budget. We are always bemoaning the fact that there is invariably very little in the kitty for signings. Presumably the manager gets frustrated at this too and Wilder isn't the type who strikes me as being shy in discussions with the board about this. So when the board finally open the purse strings we sign a player and waste a fair chunk of what is available on someone who isn't going to play. Fucking brilliant. The money should have gone on someone who was going to give us a bit of impetus towards the play-off positions. A poor transaction in my opinion.

When I saw the thread title I thought it was going to be young uns moaning about the lack of opportunities to accumulate loyalty points.

I thought that's it, my days are numbered.

The 3 codgers have done OK for us overall this season.

Particularly when you consider their combined transfer fees would be comfortably under a million. You are never gonna get top quality at those prices.

Everything considered, we are OK and still well positioned going in to the final phase of season, in which I fully expect all 3 codgers to have an impact.

‘One of them days’ for the forwards, some of them misses were ‘unbelievable’.

Having said that we created a lot of chances against a decent side...more worried about Blackman being out for three games with the‘playground’ antics tbh...we’ve looked a solid unit at the back recently.

I’ve just seen all 3 of them jumping on a bus with OAP passes so it’s true, the people at the back of the bus queue was bemoaning the fact it took the slow fuckers ages getting on, they kept missing the step to get on whilst having clear sight of it.

Its not bollocks at all,its my opinion.

And you would enjoy us being pitted against Villa or Fulham i am sure getting hammered by either of those would really help our young uns (who are they) to,prepare for next season.

I will settle for just missing out, will be a great achievement in our first season back.

If only we had a manager who knew what he was doing!

I mean getting 199 points and winning the league in 2 consecutive seasons is easy.... any internet forum-keyboard warrior chimp could manage that... right?

Get rid of the codgers ?

I'm going nowhere Buddy and I'm sure the same applies to Finchley and the other, ahem, mature members of this forum.

Thank you for your confidence in my ability to survive this ferocious, unprovoked and unforgiving attack on our age group - needless to say, I’m outraged......

I feel this is the one occasion where outrage is an appropriate and justifiable reaction.

In normal circumstances I consider mild disappointment or, at worst, being offended as a quite sufficient response but this is a whole different crock of shit .........
