Let's face it top down there isn't a winning mentality at the club. For all Jim Phipps' social pontifications and Mr Nice Guy image, the club has continued to sell their best players on his watch. Adkins bleats out the same hot air every week without showing any emotion and we obviously bought some wrong 'uns to the club whose apathy has spread through the dressing room. But why change when 19,000 fans continue to traipse through the gates?
We as fans need to show the club that we are not prepared for this slow tortuous demise to continue.
A 45 minute boycott of a home match sounds like a good start. Let the players run out to an empty ground with just ball boys for company. Let's be fair that's what most of them should be doing anyway.
Until the club realises we cannot be guarranteed to attend, this malaise is here to stay.

Too late, we're already fucked, we needed a boycott 7 or 8 seasons ago.

We're not travelling around 100 miles to watch 45 minutes of football.

It's either all or nothing for us.

We deliberately didn't go last night and Saturday is in serious doubt.

We are Season Ticket holders so it's not a matter of cost!

As powerful as that would be, it'll never happen. Get thi' sen outside in the car park with Brian the Blade, he could do with some company...

If you don't go send me the ticket, I'm sick of paying full whack to watch this crap :( ;)

And while ever this garbage is being served up, any potential supporters in the near future, will be turning to the dark side.

I dont suppose you mean geoffrey? Anyway what about in the next home match. When the players come out onto the pitch. No applauding No cheering just remain quiet and if by any chance theyxdo start to make an positive effort and deserve it cheer them off at halftime or just remain quiet if they dont. The silent treatment as always worked with the wife so this is a proven method utb

You'd just be dragged down to their level.

They haven't turned up for the first 45 minutes all season.

That is a very good call - yes I live in S10 and have done for ages - I saw a dramatic change in S10 when we were doing well in the early 2000's. From a situation of loads of B&W shirts - the impressionable kids started wearing R&W. Now that is a fact not mythology - I helped to run a boys club in the area and it happened.

We are losing the next generation of kids.

It's about time our crowd truly turned. It's not gone beyond apathy, grumbles and a bit of booing for a long time. The 'you're not fit to wear the shirt' chant last night was a start. Until next season's season ticket sales, how else can we get the point across?

How about singing the GCB twice, support the team during the 90 mins and then only boo at the end of the match if warranted?

Yes mate I know, we can't give up though - just because some of the players seem to have

Although there are too many that are too keen to boo at the slightest mistake!

I fully agree with you but I'm weak. It's the match or Meadowhall with all the carols and fucking baubles:(

If we're doing shoes off can we either do it now or leave it until spring? It's shitting freezing in Jan.

Tragically I didn't see the shoe throwing escapade but surely the protagonists came pre-armed with a pair of old Clark's? You'd end up looking a bit of a donger if having thrown the shoes you had to sift through them all to reclaim them.

!7800 last night looked a bit iffy to me last night ,we'd guessed around 15/16 mark.

I suspect there were a fair few absentee Season Ticket holders who were counted anyway. Looked a pretty small crowd compared to the rest of the season to me.
