Even if he didnt have tonsilitis, someone please explain what genuine defending he had to do in these two 'best games' he's supposedly just had.

Fair play on scoring but the mistakes he's made this season haven't just been losing a man on a corner or getting done by a lightning fast winger, they've been game and season changing clangers and his performances this season have been atrocious.

I want him to succeed, but just like a good player doesn't become a bad one overnight, neither does a poor (probably league one) defender become a good one after two games against a pathetic showing from the opposition.

Give us 10 games in a row of the standard he showed against Fulham then we can talk about whether he's been treat fairly

Felt a bit sorry for Robinson being dropped after he had just played his best 2 games (unless he was injured?)

Hecky’s mantra seems to be that you have to earn the right to get in the team . Not saying I wouldn’t choose Davies over Robinson but felt a bit sorry for him nevertheless.

But then again I cry at Emmerdale

Apart from the loan-fee , Davies "earns" the Liverpool level of wages we have to pay , so after being absent for weeks , it's about time he put a shift in.
I hope we are still scouting for CBs to become our players in the summer - we are badly deficient + relying on loanees which leaves us in the precarious position we've endured since Spring 2020.
That's almost 2 years.
Injuries to or suspensions of Basham or Egan will bite us eventually.
