If they have any sense they will look for a upgrade on Mcburnie and loan him out for the season......

There’s an awful lot of cliches a outspending hardly any money but I bet their wages bill is higher because as we all know free signings aren’t free the club pays for it with higher signing on fees and higher wages.

Well, he played as well as anyone today, and when with us in the Premier League it was difficult to work out how good he could be seeing as we hardly created any chances.

Or maybe you're hoping he gets loaned here?

Looking back at our go at Wembley last season, I think it was the worst, most painful of the lot.

In all previous attempts, excepting perhaps the Hull semi final, and maybe at a push, the '93 pig match, we've been total and utter shite.

We could've and should've beat Sunderland. We bullied them totally for 60 minutes.

And it's cost us dear. Especially after the farcical start to the season.

I think the odds on promotion for us next season should be around the same as relegation.

Interesting on-pitch pist match, McB said about being too immature when he was with us to do what he needed to do. And that he has grown into it over the years.
Yeah that’s a very honest and mature comment from him and it echos what he said after his court appearance with us that he said something like he needed to grow up.
I'm really pleased for them. Egan was outstanding and was clearly marshalling their defence.
Must say, like perhaps a few others that I thought he was done as he was on a downward slide before his injury, performance wise.

Very good leader of men, again like McBurnie has become

Well done to Hull City, Happy for Egan, Player of the match, Great Goal from McBernie.Slater and Lundstram.
I am just wondering, had the Owners/ Board who know nothing about football kept Chris Wilder and re-signed McBurnie, wishful feeling, I know.

Can't stand Hull but pleased for McBurnie. The main reason that I'll always harbour a grudge against that inept, useless piece of shit Selles, is him refusing to bring McBurnie back. Imagine where we'd be with McB's goals, instead of having Cannon running around like a headless chicken? It might have even been us that he scored a last minute winner for today.

Imagine, we might've got to see us lose at Wembley again!

They are now interviewing the Bosnian manager of Hull on Talksport radio.

Apparently they were under a transfer embargo and could only bring in free transfers.
They mentioned that ironically it probably helped them because they brought in McBurnie on a free transfer and he scored the winner.

The Hull manager said “the McBurnie transfer took a long time because he was set to join Sheffield United so we had to wait….but eventually we got him”.

Yeah, until Reuben said he didn’t want him?

If we are being honest I doubt that too many Blades were bothered that all 4 of them left when they did.
That aside they have done brilliantly this season for Hull.
However It's time to look forwards instead of backwards.

When you hear that from Hull’s manager - it hurts even more!!! Jeez…. Summer 2025 starting with the Play Off final really was complete self destruction of our club!!!

My cousin in a Hull ST holder . They operate in an alternative universe where Wembley loves them and our ex players get them over the line ( not forgotten Dean Windass here ) . Plus finishing sixth helps and we even helped them with that after seeing off Derby . Be nice if the fuckers appreciated the help and knock the crying on Wembley way shit off 😤
