Anyone noticed, apart from kop wing at SS end there's hardly any tickets left. Although I'm not sure what the club are dicking about at with the BLUT. It's showing as full although I'm sure it's not available. 30k anyone?

Tickets have been on sale in BLUT upper for weeks. I'm up there- so if showing unavailable it must be sold out

South stand sold out
Westfield Only a handful left
Kop still a good few available, majority on the left hand side
Only one block showing as being open atm in the BLUT

Why have they opened up the John St side of the BLUT first?

How can that be better for entry/exit segregation purposes than opening the right side near the corner?

If they open up a block or two near the corner then they wouldn't have to use any more entries/exits than they do already.

Maybe it's because SYP are making a stick they can beat us with later.

SYP don't do common sense. Logic dictates that opening one block next to the Westfield Corner would allow entry via the Copthorne end turnstiles meaning the rest of Bramall Lane could be cordoned off for away fans only if they are that concerned about security. Now they will have to split resources across the bottom and top of the Lane, exactly how the Fckd up on Hillsborough Corner. Still just under 1k seats left in the rest of the ground so doubt they'll open any other blocks on BLUT so what we'll have is a huge gap between the Westfield Corner and the JSS nearest block on the BLUT. SYP patenting Einsteins definition of insanity!

As utterly incompetent as they are, I'm not convinced this is the police.

We assumed it was them when the BLUT was made unavailable in the first place but it turned out to be the doing of our safety officer.

Maybe it's the same here. Whether he's under instructions from SYP I don't know.

It will be SAG of which SYP are members. They will be concerned about the number of available exits so won't go with the common sense option of one extra block using the same exits as the Westfield. Concern about numbers exiting out of the ground is why the Pigs have had their maximum attendance reduced. Seems they would prefer to let a small number of Blades out on Bramall Lane at the same time as Birmingham fans rather than take the option of holding Birmingham fans back. Bramall Lane will be restricted access after the game like it was with Hull so no excuses for not taking the sensible option to keep them back a few minutes. It won't happen though. Will be interesting to see what the Stewards do tomorrow if Blades decide to move across from the end block.

For the fans who always want to get one over on the massive - a crowd of 30,303 against Brum will give us a higher average than our S6 massive neighbours for this season.

Upper tier was never on sale on line until this random block today. Assuming people saying they already had tickets mean the corner? Either way will be a good gate considering its on tv

Not bad considering they have played us & Leeds who filled Leppings Lane.

Think we`ll overtake them by the end of the season.

If there is major trouble, it's unlikely to be bang outside the ground.

I've been on the upper tier for the last 2 home games. The exit next to the Westfield Corner has been kept shut meaning all the fans have to file towards the exit on the other side and come out just next to the away fans exit where the coaches are parked. Even on Tuesday it took ages to get out.

Should've left early.

Really? It's like they're trying to create a problem.

Is using common sense frowned upon or something?

The SUFC ticketing website shows that the South stand and Westfield corner stand are sold out.
Also the JS and Kop are both much fuller then normal.

Looks certain to be the highest crowd of the season today.
Birmingham sold out their 2,200 allocation weeks ago. I’m expecting it to be 28K to 29K.

Note...if you go on the kop, row P is about level with the pillars. If you can, get one that's closer to the pitch than this. Good luck.

An excellent marketing initiative. A free bag of sweets for the youngsters.
I was told by my Mummy and Daddy to not take sweets of strangers, I’ll have an unopened bag of Haribos then.

Yes, really pal. It seems that those in charge want the fans exiting at more or less the same place. Today could be interesting.

Recently they have closed the exit nearest to the away fans though, meaning a huge queue at the final whistle to exit further down Bramall Lane, or you can gobthrough the Wedtfield to the exit ramp next to the Copthorne.

No doubt about it. Don’t forget Sunderland as well.

We’re massive.

Nooooo ...... we are clearly NOT massive !! :eek:o_O

Ask any pig fan ..... there is only one MASSIVE Club ....... we just have to accept that and I for one do not feel in any way diminished by the deluded, arrogant, fu**ing pig scum !! ;)

It just makes it all so much sweeter when things DON'T go their way and we hear them whinging, wining and squealing :D:D:D
