My grandson aged 9 has a ST with me in the SS. His Dad wants to use his seat for the Millwall game. Does anybody know if you can upgrade a junior ST to an adult for a specific game or do I just have to buy an adult SS ticket for somewhere else and then he can still use the seat.

Yes you can though I think they put a limit to 4 times a season on it.

Yes you definitely can, I think you can do it six times per season, it costs less than a tenner but depends on the category of the game.

Well I never thought they'd let you do that. Fair play Blades
And I'm gonna remember that :D

Yep. Did this a few weeks ago, when jr couldn't get to the game. Just ask the ticket office to upgrade to adult for that game, sorted :)

ucandomagic I do it on a regular basis. They always remind me I can only do it 6 times a season but I don't know if they have a way of tracking it. Just go into the ticket office and pay £7-£10 and they produce a paper ticket.

Season Tickets are non-transferrable so I doubt they'd let you do that.

I've seen this claim before, but can't believe it's really true. Surely the club would always want to see someone/anyone in a seat rather than see it empty? There are many occasions when ST holders can't make individual games. I've often lent mine without problem.

I've lent mine loads of times but they're never gonna check ID on the turnstile are they?
They can however check concessions. They're only allowed through certain turnstiles and when a concession ticket goes through a different light lights up on the inside of the ground alerting a steward (supposedly :D)

The concessions were being checked the last home game at some turnstiles on the Kop

.....They're only allowed through certain turnstiles .......

It's no longer enforced, 'They' are allowed in any gate now. The designated turnstiles were discriminatory it's like having special turnstiles for women, gays, dark skin etc herding 60+ through specific gates. We walked to the ground together then while my family went in I had to walk 50 yards downt road, go in then meet up inside at our seats. Hardly conducive to family so the club got both feckin barrels from the B56 email bazooka.

If no one checks your ticket normally when you go Id just give it him as is, should be fine
