Let me start by say CW is God and any team he picks is OK by me, but being a Bladie Blade I'm starting to feel a little uncomfortable about some fans concerns over the feelings of a couple of loan player's (that are not and never will be our players) if they were dropped after having stinkers and costing us 3 points, what about the feeling of our own p!ayers ? What effect will it have on them, what will it do to their confidence to see a performance like that and still find them selves sat on the benche ?

We have a team / squad , our manager is installing a proper team ethic of all for one ,
one for all in our club .
Something that has been missing for at least 6 or 7 years
I'm sure if you asked any of the players they'll tell you
It was Sheffield United that lost on Tuesday ,
And not his or his mistake ,
You want to play as an individual then get your agent to engineer a move
To south Barnsley on 40 / 50 / 60 grand a week
Cause after watching that shower of shite v Ipswich it's all about individuals
Up there ,
Not to mention showing them up on national and international tv , after giving them 5 years head start
UTB , every fucking one of them

Being a fellow Bladie(ey?) Blade I'd suggest Wilder treats the loanees as he does 'our' players, ie: they have to keep performing at their peak or someone else will come in....they know, appreciate and accept that if they keep performing they'll keep the shirt...if they don't, they won't.

That's why he tries to get two players for each position.

Could be a good time to recall some of our loanees
Long, having a great season at Wimbledon
Reed, doing well now at Chess

I think we need to differentiate between bad performances and bad form.

You don't drop players after one off game or mistake. As I said in another thread, Stevens made two mistakes the other night as bad as CCV but didn't get punished for them, does he deserve to be dropped? No.

If it happens two or three games in a row, that's when the changes happen in my opinion. Give them a chance to put things right first because it doesn't send the best message out otherwise.

By his own admission Sir Tufty made mistakes on Tuesday night. Should he drop himself?

No one makes mistakes on purpose.

Dropping someone for a mistake/one bad game is where players start losing faith in the manager.
I'm not sure CW said he made mistakes - he said he accepted responsibility for the last 2 Fulham goals. That makes it clear that the players were not to blame, but I think he means that he took a risk which did not work out. He commented on how exhausted the Fulham players were at the end, because they were having to fight so hard. On another day, they don't get the deflection for goal 4, Hanson's header isn't cleared off the line, and CW is hailed as a tactical genius. If it had stayed at 5-2, the doubters would have had a field day. Fine lines and all that. But I think in a similar situation in the future, he would not do things much differently.

That is the way I think most folk who manage or managed teams do it.
Someone can behaving an off day and there can be a reason to substitute them. I'm sure that the manager would suggest it was not their day but also say let's get it right the next game to them.

I think he’s made it clear in the past that any loanee that comes in comes here with the understanding he fights for his place and he has implied that he has backed of loans that demanded guaranteed starts. I don’t think we need worry on this score.

Some folk lack any rational thinking ability. Someone texted into RS last night saying we need to drop CCV and Blackman because they are "costing us too many goals and points". Costing us too many! We're 3rd in the league, not mid table feeling like we should be higher. Everyone's entitled to their opinion but some folks opinions are shit. Simple.

None of the loan players under the Lord have come across as 'non-Blades', for this season they are Blades and with regards loan players that make mistakes (I assume CCV) he, in particular, has given good performamces and should get another chance. If he's shite by half time on Saturday, time for a break.

think it's great we went for it and ended up 4-5.. clough would have had us time wasting near the corner flag 'ooh i was worried they'd get 6'

Agree by accepting blame like he did he was taking the heat off CarterVickers , all of us make mistakes including Wilder .
Learning from them is the important thing ,
Harry said more than once! Players making the sa.e mistake repeatably are no good to me,im sure Wilder has a similar approach .
We move on !!

Not sure I understand your logic there mate. I'm shit hot at back gammon, but doubt I'll be featuring in the first team any time soon
