Thanks for all your welcomes. One small point could some explain the points system, thanks system and what happens if you press the enhance reputation button as I would hate to do something wrong
Cheers
Points:
You receive points for every forum post you make and every poll you vote on.
The points can be frittered away in our virtual betting forum, the
Brokelads forum. It's nowt serious, no prizes to be won but more points, but it's an interesting way of posting the odds
Thanks:
If a post is particularly useful, you can say "thanks". It saves messages saying nothing but "I agree". Receiving thanks also adds to your reputation.
Reputation:
Rep tends not to be used so much any more now the thanks system is in place, but you can give, or indeed, take away from a members reputation for posts you particularly agree or disagree with.
It's very hard to do anything "wrong" as most things can either be edited by yourself, or a quick message to us (Foxy or myself) and we can sort them out for you

We always tell new members to have a play (with the forum, not themselves obviously) and they find loads of new stuff out.
Most of the information to do with your profile can be found in [User CP] which stands for user control panel
