I’ll have posts here highlighting keeping Bogle as an Osborn alternative on the right, covering several roles, but mostly in central/right midfield. I still think he’s could play that role in a squad.
He sure as shit isn’t a right back though and he isn’t worth £6m in the last year of his contract. We’ve done The Dirties, dirty.

Gilchrist has been a massive upgrade, very assured defensively.

Bogle is great carrying the ball from deep, gets into the box well, generally a good finisher. In the right defensive set up (5atb) he's able to be OK defensively and he puts a shift in.

He's just not that great at a load of stuff associated with his position - 1v1 defending, creating space 1v1 to get a cross in, crossing.

Potential to be a very good footballer, plenty of flaws. The most inconsistent player I've seen at United. A proper threat and tenacious defender one week, a competition winner with his boots on the wrong feet the next

He was exciting to watch going forward when in form but genuinely, genuinely could never defend.
