When you consider the 2 losses were vs Wolves and Villa it looks slightly more favourable. I wouldn't make a points prediction but if we can use the upcoming fixtures to get on a bit of a roll then the playoffs are definitely achievable.

What might be tricky is a few teams threatening to hit form at the same time. Brentford, Boro, Preston still plugging away. We will need to consistently pick up points to get in there.

Average points v top, middle and bottom thirds projected forwards for the rest of the season gives us 74 points. That would have got in PO’s 3 of the last 5 years. PO’s could start with our last game at Bristol City - winner goes on!

When you consider the 2 losses were vs Wolves and Villa it looks slightly more favourable.

And there's the point at Derby too, that's 3 of the top 4 sides we've played this year. and we battered villa and that was a bit of a freak result. in fact the only result of 2018 that we really should have been expected to have bettered was the pigs at home.

what's really going to matter now is if we can keep getting results against the midtable and the dross - i thought QPR would be this season's Walsall, so happy we won tonight win, however it came about

We need the luck we haven' had in most of our games ie the one we hit the post 4 times and ended up drawing don't quote me but I think it was the birmingham at home game.we have outplayed the opposition in many of our games and come away with nothing .we just need that extra bit of luck and I can see 6th place being within our grasp.and then anything might happen

I'm a natural pessimist but I don't think we are playing well enough to pick up 25-30 points over our last 14 games.

We have to win all/most of the games where we are favourites(Hull, Reading, Barnsley, Birmingham, Millwall, Forest, Burton) and I think that's just asking too much. Anything less than 15 points from those games would make it very difficult
