You won't get anything like 10/1. I've just checked bet365 and they give odds of 9/4 that United finish above Wednesday.

Them odds are really poor, it's not worth betting.

Obviously the bookies don't rate Wednesday that highly.
I reckon most Wednesday fans would give you 10 to 1.
They are so convinced they're gauranteed to finish top 6
Where as most think we'll stay up but finish mid table at best.

Chelsea
United to Win play offs
Blackburn
Real Madrid

£5 at 991/1

I reckon Norwich will have a decent crack at it. Can see them and Villa battling it out.

Blackburn at 5/6 for top six finish considering their signings looks to be almost buying money.

Luton should have a decent crack too.

Why are people saying Villa for the Championship? Their form at the end of the season was poor and they were mid table.

Cos they have a huge budget, a manager who has won loads of promotions from this league, they've just signed arguably the best centre half in the division (well, next to magic Jack ;)) and they had a run where they won 8 out of 9 in the second half of last season. They also have one of the best strikers in the division in Kodjia.

Man City 1st, Chelsea 2nd, Spurs 3rd
Middlesbrough 1st, Norwich 2nd
Wigan 1st, Blackburn 2nd
Coventry 1st, Mansfield 2nd

4763297/1 if anyone fancies being a multi millionaire.

Wigan and Blackburn both to finish in the top 2 is 22/1, and with those two looking by far the strongest it could be worth sticking that selection in with other 'safer' ones.

So put that with Chelsea top 4, Cardiff top half and Coventry top 12 for example, and it's 102/1. Not bad, maybe worth a tenner.

Without knowing too much, why is everyone so keen on Coventry? The overall mismanagement is still there isn't it?

Has Robins stayed?

That should be Coventry top 7, moron.

Robins is manager and he's a safe pair of hands and I'd trust him to have them competing well at that level.

Doyle's gone back there, he's a good captain and a reliable player at that level. They've also signed Vincenti and McNulty and have the likes of Stuart Beavon, Kyle Reid, a couple of good young midfielders and 3 or 4 decent defenders if they stay. The business they've done suggests they'll be one of the biggest spenders in L2.

Mansfield look the safest bet with the signings they've made but they're 4/9 for top 7 as opposed to Coventry's 5/6.

Last season was nice for bets had Sharp O19.5 goals 9/2 and Sharp Top scorer and Blades win league 28/1, Not as easy for us this year but will see what SkyBet offer they usually offer some nice requestabets
Also had Newcastle, Sheffield United and Portsmouth to win the league ... oh wait it was a 4fold in which I stupidly included Man Utd.

This year I reckon Man City, Villa, Wigan and Coventry but will wait till closer to the start of the season

I've had 1.25e/w which potential over 18k
Man City
Blades
Wigan
Port vale

Obviously not confident as only put 2.50 on it, but fingers are crossed

Completely agree, and to add to that they've added team player and all round good guy John Terry to the mix. Bruce has got a good record but as you say, they didn't exactly finish last season well.

Blackburn are another one to be wary of, on paper they should storm it but don't underestimate the issues they've got off the pitch. A lot will depend on whether they hit the ground running as they haven't got the support of the fans at the moment.

Why are people saying Villa for the Championship?

Could it be because they're the biggest club, with the most money and arguably the best players and a good manager with proven experience of getting promoted to the Prem?

But you disregard that then, because they finished last season poorly? (Half the first team squad out injured).

I just don't get that logic tbh.

If we finish one place behind Villa this coming season I'll be delighted, put it that way. Because that will mean we've gone up in auto.

No still don't see it, Bruce is adequate and having scanned their squad list all the names are well past their best with the exception of the striker Kodjia (agree about Terry only upsetting the team balance). Obviously that in no way shows how they play as a team but mid table Championship tells me they are rank average, I'm happy to accept I'm wrong once the season starts and they prove their worth but as a prediction I can't see it.
I see more potential in Middlesboro, Fulham, Reading, L**ds and sadly the dark side than Villa.

Middlesbrough are 1/1 for a top 6 finish. Considering their signings I think that's good value.

Jonny Howson, Cyrus Christie, Martin Braithwaite and probably Sheyi Ojo and Britt Assombalonga. They'll also sign a quality keeper.

Decent manager there in Garry Monk and most of their previous promotion core is still in place.

Had them in a 'safe' treble with Chelsea top 4 and Blackburn top 6.

3.2/1 with SportingBet.

Who do you bet with? - I can't see an option for top six finish on Ladbrokes, just win or promotion

Div 1: Blackburn
Div 2: Coventry
FA Cup: Chelsea

You can take this to the bank.

Tuna man to grow tired of Carlos the Jackal b4 xmas.

Money in the bank.

UTB

Man City
L**ds -sorry everybody, from a position of strength they appear to have fortified themselves
Wigan - just too many good players in that squad
Coventry (my least confident choice but they have the Doylerator & McNulty who should be above this league)

My latest outright:

Chelsea top 4
Cardiff top half
Charlton top 6

6.3/1

Anyone have any good tips for today?

Will Grigg is my main one for this season, League 1 top scorer @ 16s

I've left us alone this season for a change (apart from one bet below), the Chumpionship is a bugger to sort out at the best of times without my 'rose-tinteds' clouding things !

I've done these in various accums;

Man City to finish above Chelsea
Burton relegation
Blades to finish above Millwall
Gillingham relegation
Blackburn promotion
Luton promotion
