I think the dream might have turned into a nightmare for old Carlos.....

th

In all Seriousness, I think with what they have they should be top half, I still think as I have said in other posts we are in the ascendancy at the moment, we have last season still fuelling the team and they will all want to have success again.

"They wont know what's hit them".......

Egg. On. Face.

Wankers the lot of them.

I want to see them wriggle in pain for a good while longer yet .. nothing personal .... well actually it is you set of part timing , arrogant , blue & white c**ts

Our presence in this league was always going to trouble them.
We are a club that is comfortable in its own skin. The only reason the pork follow that ramshackle old club is because they think they are far superior in size and stature than we are.
Now we've bridged the gap in status, they'll start talking about crowd size. Once we've bridged the "size gap" ..........They'll be well and truly fucked.

It's "revenue per fan" you fool ;)

Highlights from their game just been on Sky (well the penalty anyway )

Said Wendy were booed off at the end

I'm sorry, have we all played just one game this season, or have we already played ten ?

I can understand our fans being pissed off after one game when we lost 4-0 at Gillingham after years of underperforming in previous seasons

But throwing the toys out of the pram one game into a new season after two pretty good seasons is just horrendously fickle

Well they were pretty dire in their play off games, and against Rangers, and they're basically the same team apart from Boyd, and are still playing the same shit football so I think it's been building.

A lot of them wanted Carlos sacking at the end of last season, I think Tunaman said he only had 2 seasons to get up which he failed to do so yeah, there's a bit of unrest.

But yeah, what do you expect from Wendy fans. They don't support Wednesday, they support an idea of Wednesday that doesn't exist. They're more bothered about money and status than actually getting behind their team.

They're trying to bring in a centre half as well.... now where's Nyron Nosworthy these days?

Not quite Nosworthy, but not far behind. Sounds like they were after Johan Djourou according to the Stir.

Would have been a typical Wednesday signing if they got him, a (sort of) well known name, on the down-slope of his career, still commanding large wages. I'm genuinely gutted they didn't sign him, pork-talk would have gone into meltdown :D

I have to say that whilst I am looking forward to the derbys, I am also a tad anxious because they will be my lad's first experience of them and he is insistent that he wants to go. I think it will be rather unpleasant, regardless of the result, more so than ever due to the six year gap since we last played.

It will most likely just be the two of us and knowing how classless they are we will be an easy target on the way home. I am more prepared than most to tell any of their less cultured fanbase what I think of them, but it's a bit tricky with an 8yr old holding your hand. Positive role model and all that :)

Shouldn't be a problem for the home fixture as you'll be surrounded by Blades fans, they'll only get a few thousand tickets. I'd presume that with an 8 year old you shouldn't get any serious grief away from home. Words, stares and comments won't kill you, just ignore or smile, alternatively don't go to Hillsborough but if you do make your own decision about wearing colours.

yes good advice that. I went in my red Blades tee-shirt to a previous derby at Hillsboro. I thought I'd stop off for a drink at the New Barrack Tavern first. Ha! That was a mistake. Bloke on the door says, "can't come in here wearing red!". I was a bit surprised tbh. I'd been in loads of times before (although not a regular) and I'd worn all different colours (not at the same time though - I'm not Harlequin FFS!). I went and parked up near Lepers Lane and had a little stroll around Middlewood Road. It was quite early before kick off and I didn't see anyone else in United colours at all! Then all these inbred obese people wearing Wednesday shell-suits and driving cars with Wednesday windscreen stickers on them started appearing. I got some reyt gyp am' tellin' yer! I don't mean anything physical, but just loads of taunting and verbal abuse. I think it could have turned nasty if any of them had been looking for a bit of aggro - fortunately the ones I met weren't. As the crowds started to build before kick off the atmosphere around that end of the ground though was tinder box. A sense that something almighty was going to kick off at any time.

My advice would be to wear purple - as it's a neutral colour - a mix of red and blue. But I mean proper purple - not the same colour as that poxy away shirt that we've brought out for this season.

Yeah was thinking more about the away leg mate. Will probably go, what the worst that could happen
