This is a poor start, but don't panic (yet)

In Wilder's 1st season we got off to a shocking start. We looked unfit, disengaged, and doomed. We ended up with 100 points that season and carried the momentum up another division into the Prem.

Whilst I am alarmed by what I have seen so far, I am not quite at the pitchfork stage.

Remember Southend at home! I was ready to write us off to League Two. Then Wilder got the beers in!

I guess the difference being, Wilder already had the players in the building and just needed it to click.

We're quite some way away in terms of numbers, quality, depth and experienced pros and I'm not sure that I trust the owners to move proactively enough, or to spend enough, to back the manager in what we need.

We battered Bristol city and were on the end of a freak result and have been beaten by a team tipped by most to win promotion when we fielded a team full of second stringers. i understand why people are edgy but i think it’s far from panic stations
I think the manager is beating the brunt of the frustrations of the fan base because he's the only one who's here to face the music.

In reality, it should 100% be the board. They've hamstrung him and then some.

That was my lowest point as a Blade of 30 years. My firstborn was due in a couple of months, and living in Southampton (who were doing well at the time), I was making plans to bring him up as a Saints fan so we can both have season tickets and do the whole dad/son football thing every other Saturday (which I've never been able to do having never lived within 200 miles of Sheffield). Then James Wilson scored that header and ruined everything!

I also remember losing to Barnsley in last years league cup and thinking what a mess.
The league cup has become a chance for the young uns. I genuinely can't remember the last time I got excited for a league cup tie. Probably the Spurs semi final. I tuned in last night expecting us to get beat, but interested to see if any of the young uns or Aldi middle aisle signings were ready to step up. Apart from Soumare, who I quite like the look of, it was a resounding no on that front!
