Tell me there's no truth in the rumour (just started here ;)) that this forum is being scaled down to make way for Foxy and Linz to grow their burgeoning apparel business - which by all accounts is BOOMING!

Whilst they've been fairly popular, I wish we could call it booming :D

Yes, to nip any rumour in the bud, we get about 20p per tshirt... which will be paid to us once we hit £80.

Some rudimentary maths - we have to sell 400 tshirts before we actually make anything :D

If anyone can suggest a reliable printer who can guarantee the same quality and deal with the logistics for us, I'm sure Foxy would be more than happy to look into it.

How hard would it be for everyone to have their name on if they bought one?

Raise your prices. I think anyone wanting to buy one wouldn't be put off by a few extra quid, it's a novelty thing.

Either that or put a link to the Donate tab on the shop exit page.

This. I dunno what the quality of the shirts is after a few washes, but given that i usually pay £25+ for a decent t-shirt then i think you could raise the prices a bit.

I got a T shirt with Karl Marx on the front for £1.99 on a shop off Wood Green High Road.

I would no more pay £25 for a T shirt than I would buy one with Murray Rothbard on the front.

As i was typing that I knew you'd be along in a minute to brag about how parsimonious you are :)

Apart from when it comes to sex and books I am incredibly puritantical. I genuinely am not bothered about expensive food, drink, clothes, cars, gadgets etc. I feel an amused superiority for people who are bothered.

This obviously means I have plenty of money to spend on obscure books, exotic sexual practices and trips to the frozen north.

I'm actually pretty good when it comes to clothes. I buy clothes once in a blue moon, but tend to spend a bit when i do.

I'm a bit of a muppet when it comes to gadgets though. I bought a new phone yesterday though i didn't need one, and probably won't use it much. I just wanted to try a different OS out.

If I knew what an OS was, I might be able to discuss that with you.

Mind you, I am the same with books. I have 3000 odd and just keep buying them. I do read them all. mind.

OS = Operating System. My main phone is an iPhone, but i wanted to see what Windows Phone was like, so i bought a cheap Nokia.

I see. I hope it was worth it.

You will probably be interested to learn that my last half decent phone packed in and was apparently unrepairable. As I was still in the midt of a contract, I was buggered if I was going to buy a new one, so I just bought their cheapest phone (£10), which did everything I wanted (calls/texts/alarm) and still had about 23 features |I never use, even if it couldn't do photos.

It could be that the contract is now up and I am entitled to a better phone again and I must check some day, but that is no 234 on my list of priorities.

Not washed mine yet - only been worn for Charlton and Wembley - not sure how the image will wash - bet it needs to be inside out. Anyone else washed one yet?

They certainly look good enough quality and feel good quality cotton - nice to see that the "F&L" brand isn't as dodgy as you get in the club shop

I felt sure it was Ordnance Survey. You'll be telling us next these fancy phones can tell you where you are and how to get where you're going so we won't need their maps anymore........

I've washed Foxy's a couple of times... But tend to wash most things inside out anyway.

If you're into ironing, I'd stick to a very cool iron on the reverse side.

I'd probably stay clear of tumble drying too, just in case... Probably says so on the washing instructions.

When I first ironed mine a notice a black circle stain around the logo must have been when they printed it on. Only on 1 out of my 2 though.

We use a good screen printer for hoodies we do for school trip we organise. She is a one man band and very reasonable price, located in staveley. Let me know if you need details.

Anyone any advice on cultivating these "parsiminious's" I've read about in this thread, along with sartorial advice plus washing and ironing advice on said clothing.
Btw are parsiminious's a fruit or a veg ?
