I am not jealous, I just like pointless geographical pedantry :-)
 



When the old BladesUnited shut down I signed up to both here and BladesMad. [Some] of the people on BladesMad took a particular exception to anyone who posted on BU and thought they were all dickheads.

I basically stayed on there and continued posting mainly to piss off a lovely poster who still posts on there and shall remain nameless who went on a particularly hateful rant directed at me.

So I mainly stayed on there to piss that tool off. Will see if anyone on here is similarly angry with me and possibly stick around to annoy them too....

The abuse you received would not have gone that far on here before said poster would have been kicked off. That said there are a few on here who if you are debating with and disagreing with for a long time in a thread decide they will then resort to a 'big word' stratergy in an attempt to show other readers their 'superior education'. A new word would be appropriate for these posters.

Dronfield Blade. I'm still watching my back after he told me to do so, after I challenged his political views via the social medium of Twitter, whilst also hashtagging his big mate Tommy Robinson. He also accused me of loving Muslims, told me I was a fucking mug and warned me (and my UAF) mates to stay away from Sheffield whilst they had their 'peaceful' march last year in town last year. Fortunately I has better things to do like watching the Stone Roses in London. He is a delightful character.
 
Hi Guys,
I've not posted on here for ages as I tended to read and occasionally post on BM.
I've seen the light and finally given up on BM.
These days you'll be please to hear I tend to stay in the background. I like to read the points of view and general chat but rarely get involved.
Anyway BM is history for me.
Three points today would be a great way to start this new era on s24su.com

Well you, for one, are a very welcome addition. I'm amazed that anyone capable of articulate and elegant communication could stay on T.I.L.D. for a moment longer than absolutely necessary!

I'm afraid it was a little acronym I coined for 'BladesMad'. It stands for Teenage Illiterate Lager Drinkers. It was a whimsical and affectionate creation, not intended to give offence.
;)

As for Joe Thompson, I was unaware of his case and join you in your sympathy for him. I was very moved recently by the reception given to Gary Parkinson, who suffers from Locked-in Syndrome, at Middlesborough.
