He inexplicably then did a u-turn, and you just knew at that point how it was going to end.

All fine margins and easy to say when you have a still but defiantly offside, not that it mattered.

Pre VAR, hardly anyone would have been moaning at that offside not being given. It's fine margins and the lino's vision is occluded by our player. The biggest advantage Coventry gained was from our players falling asleep, not from his hand being offside.

The direction of the pass doesn't matter. It's a matter of whether the receiving player was behind or infront of the ball when it was played. I think he was behind the ball so would be onside

definetly offside and would have been given by var but the officials gave us nothing yet again a recurring scenario this season although i do think things even thereselves out through a season i will say it now even though our form is horrendous we will stay up theres 4/5 teams with worse squads than us

Davies’ starting position should have been just beyond the edge of his 18 yard box at least, in order for just such an occurrence.

I think he was far too deep, probably thought he wouldn’t beat the on rushing attacker to the ball and retreated back towards his goal, at which point he might as well have lit a fag and sat on the floor, for what hope he had of preventing a third from there?

He was singularly at fault for the third and fourth goals, let’s hope Coopers injury isn’t a bad one.
