Eight years ago today Leicester City were crowned League One champions after beating Southend United. Today they play Athletico Madrid in the Champions League Quarter Finals. We were confirmed champions three days earlier than Leicester. I want the Champions League semi finals at least in eight years!

Based on the success them, Southampton and Burnley have had - I'm naively optimistic about the next few years.

And before any of you naysayers come on here and piss on my chips, just let me have the next few months of optimism...

There's no reason, none at all why we couldn't compete on a similar level to the clubs mentioned.

Leicester however is complete freak. But competing in the top division and not being consistent relegation battlers isn't something beyond us.

Having said that, there's many clubs in the Championship who think the same. Leeds, Wednesday, Derby, Forest, Norwich, Ipswich, Reading etc.

We can't peak at the same time. I do however believe that our club is at the moment in the best shape that I've ever seen them in, in terms of potential to really push on to a level we've never seen us reach before.

think youll find leicesters owners have got a few more £'s that they are happy to throw at the the club than us, theyve thrown money not just on the football but the community aswell. the local hospital charity were given a million quid along with various other projects.
not forgetting of course the previous alledgedly non payment of creditors when they went bang
hope the red n white stripes of madrid turn em over tonight

Every post above is valid. Its about time we demanded a lot more. By we I mean owners, management, players and fans.
Wilder gets that.
The juggernaut is on the move.

No that's Leicester, it cannot possibly happen here
We'd have to sell out for starters and then do all those things that would stop all United fans from turning up

Like, a stadium move, massive corporate sponsorship, billionaire foreign owner, massive wage bill, be on Sky TV every day, give players a pay rise rather than watch them leave, buy prawns and champagne instead of Balti pies and dodgy lager, and we'd have to have no more than a two seat row between fans for segregation

I think we should sign Schweinsteiger and try to win the World Cup.
