Things that make you happy

Sitting in my caravan watching the sun going down over the lake.
Having a pint looking at the sea.
Watching trashy TV in bed and drifting.
Driving on an empty country road.
Hanging over the barrier at the front of a lively gig (even though I'm 50 😂)
VJ'ing tunes in the man cave whilst well-oiled.
Getting to the end of the month without going into my overdraft.
Pint with mates and my lads before football.
Cooking a nice evening meal on a Saturday helped out by Oak-aged Chardonnay.
Sitting outside the house on a barmy summer's evening.
Contents of the takeaway being correct.
Festival life.
Cornwall.
Cornwall makes me happy, I can hear the sea now and watching the sunset over the ocean never loses its magic. That said, I still get misty eyed remembering happy days sailing model boats on Wire Mill dam - Sheffield, and Yorkshire generally is a beautiful place. Sheffield folk are the tops.

Listening to the album featured on Grecian2000's profile. A man of impeccable taste.

The call of a buzzard circling above, rising on the thermals

I would just like to acknowledge that Alice Roberts makes me happy.

Her early work, on Coast, always did make me happy. Her later stuff is just as good. Even with her pink hair on Digging for Britain, Alice Roberts still makes me happy.

That is all.

Thanks. *

* not sure why this is in GBC 🤷‍♂️

The refreshing spray of salt water which permeated the air the day after Brexit and the 2016 US presidential election.

Seeing on the main forum screen that Fallowfield has posted but then not being able to see the thread makes me warm inside.
