* Sheffield United fans LOVE it when a player wins a header
* We now have 2 successful ways of playing
* James Hanson isn't apparently the worst thing Wilder has ever done
* We have a lot of talent on the bench
* Bolton won't end up being our main challengers for 2nd place
* If they run out of pies at the kiosk, never chose the curry pie, it's shit

Nice movement and finish for his debut goal.
Options now :)

Sheffield United fans love it when a player puts a shift in. Thought Hanson did exactly that today - whether that be winning headers or chasing down defenders, he looked like he wanted to wear the shirt. He made a couple of mistakes here and there but I can forgive that of almost any player if they're out there for the right reasons. That said it's only one game and we shouldn't get carried away!

It's actually called a chicken balti pie and that's another thing you've learned today.

If they've run out of pies, you wouldn't have a choice to make.

* Just because a player is over 6ft 3 it doesn't mean he has to jump and move like he's got lead boots on.

*Tom Elliott is indeed a very good target man
*Wimbledon can play a bit

They were better than Gillingham. It wasn't a 4-0 game. The scorelines in those two games could've easily been reversed due to defensive mistakes or the absence of them.

Not sure I agree with that, in the second half we totally dominated them. First half at 1-0 they were in it for 20 minutes or so without actually threatening .

* James Hanson can play football on the floor, & can readily fit in to a cultured, football-playing side

Has today changed your opinion then? Not having a dig, you just seemed to be strongly opposed to his signing.

If we hadn't conceded that stupid equaliser against Gillingham we could've gone on to do the same to them, and won 3 or 4 nil. We were better in the first half v Gillingham than we were today, yet were only 1-0 up. I do think Wimbledon were better than Gillingham so it just shows how the odd defensive mistake can dramatically change the result/scoreline.

I learnt a long time ago that the curry pies are shit , my dog wouldn't even eat one. That's how bad they are.

I was concerned when we signed Hanson but thought it worked well today. He put in a shift and worked with the formation. Promising.
