Had a similar experience today. Got on a tram for the first time in years. Got on at Middlewood and sat up front. Had to wait about 5 minutes before it could set off. Meanwhile, the driver and conductor were discussing “Wenzdeh”. Driver was despondent about how crap they are. Conductor was more positive/stupid and thought they were “being held back by Chansiri”. He then said that “his sources” have told him Chancer has turned down huge offers to buy the club. Presumably theses sources were pissed up and on the last tram back from a 14 hour session in the Bankers Draft.

Didn't have anything myself but a friend paid £8 for a "ceasar" salad. Tells you all you need to know. It's a Michell and Butlers owned outlet. In the same part of the company as The Dore Moor Inn ? Better off in The Park Hotel. Part of their bottom feeder offerings for pond life. Cheap and, well just cheap really.
