And they can convince themselves as much as they want about it not being a massacre because it was two goals.
IT'S THE MANNER OF THE DEFEAT YOU THICK TWATS.
Two mins in and behind. Then another and give you a glimpse of hope just before half time. Allow you back level for 90 secs they kill you again. Outplayed your totally overrated, overpaid squad in every department. Made most of them look stupid.
Now you can Bounce all you want. As you do you will forever remember the moment a Scaffolder (who's services you could do with round your shit tip), ripped that song away from you to and gave it to us;).
That is why it is 'THE BOUNCING DAY MASSACRE'.

We only got torn apart against a seemingly premiership bound Cardiff and we all were a bit naive. CW cut that out instantly the sign of a great manager.

We have a squad who are all in it together. They have a load of individuals who probably look around the dressing room worrying about who gets paid more than them.

Oh, and we have Chris Wilder.

I've been feeling great since 13.17 on Sunday thanks. And there is more like the Wendy reject that stuffed it up em with 2 goals and an assist. The first time between the two clubs four goals have been scored in a league game away.

If I spend ten grand on a second hand Ferrari Enzo, and someone else spends ten million on a fucked Ford Fiesta, who has the better car? The cheap Ferrari, or the expensive Fiesta that won’t run and is destined for the scrap man? Is the other bloke a genius for buying such an expensive car, or an idiot for spunking ten million quid away on something that will never be worth what he paid for it in a month of Sundays?

Well, apparently, if he crumples the Fiesta up and punches it a load of times in a strop then it’s still worth the £10million he paid for it.

I’ve just bothered to look up a few of their places to see what they can justify their claims of having superior players.....has anyone else done this?

Having done so, it doesn’t make for spectacular reading by any stretch.
Kieran Lee....released by Man U having played a couple of games in the cup, and signed on a free from Oldham.
Tom Lees....ex aleeds....hardly fantastic.
Bannan....crap Villa side, not a regular....then in the Champ.
Hooper, 2seasons in the premier, 8 goals for Norwich. Then Celtic...FFS....HARDLY A SUPERSTAR.
Wallace....championship player at best. Released by Burnley.
Jones....another released and picked up with nothing to speak of.
Hunt.....nowt.
Rhodes...all bar one season out of the top flight. Even then, hardly played for Boro. Scored a few for Udders in lower league one, and a fair few for Blackburn to be fair. But not sure it warranted that kind of fee.
The Dutch lad....played in a vastly inferior league, and was all over the place.

The only real quality player they have, the Ione with the ability to play higher....Forestieri. He has the shall we say “Brooks star quality”

So, any pig who tries to sell this story, just make them look at what they have. It’s nothing great. It’s an average squad at best with Forestieri and Rhodes as decent strikers, with Bannan as useful. The rest won’t play premier league football. I certainly doubt they will have ANY pre ire league clubs interested in a single one of their players.
This post, my friend, is one of the best I have ever read. Most players in the Premiershit started their careers in the lower leagues.

Not massacred because it was only two goals? Thats like saying I'm not bald because I've got a bit of hair left.

I'm bald.

They got massacred.

Live with it.

It is when you come to Crab Autos, a division of Crab Industries. Latest off the truck is this little beauty, one previous careful owner......

Having listened to Monday night's Football Heaven on the way into London this morning, I think the majority of sensible Wednesdayites would swap their entire team for ours. They're sitting similar to where we were under Robson and then Adkins, relatively speaking. Under Adkins for example, we had money (compared to other League One sides) and spent it unwisely. We needed a Chris Wilder to come in and get those players who were capable performing with desire and to find new players that didn't necessarily cost much but had potential, with the right players around them and the right coaching and tactics.

You can buy the most expensive Rolex in the shop, but if you can't tell the time it's useless.

The only transfer fee spent under Adkins was on Billy Sharp (£500k). But I agree that we should have got more from the wage budget we had.

Another one with a made up Blades "mate"

"
But we didnt have an open top bus and close down one of sheffields main roads when we beat them two nil

Those 6 years must have sent them funny in the head..my pig mate said they arnt used to losing and so just go around hitting people if things dont go their way..the word he used was nasty"

Someone should send them this. Wolves press aren't underestimating us.

Sheffield United vs Wolves: Toughest test yet for Nuno?
Wolves have overcome a number of challenges so far already this season – but tonight’s may be the toughest of the lot.

Chris Wilder’s Sheffield United have won five of their past six league games to move to within two points of Nuno Espirito Santo’s team.

The Blades’ 4-2 win over fierce rivals Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough on Sunday suggested their good start to life back in the Championship might not be a flash in the pan.

Wolves have won four of their past five in all competitions – but Nuno was critical of their performance in beating Barnsley 2-1 on Saturday.

The head coach knows his team will need to put in a 90-minute performance tonight, unlike against the Tykes.

He said of Saturday’s win: “During the second half there was a total change – we were what we want to be. This is the next step that we have to make for the next game, we want 90 minutes of consistency, possession – we must play for 90 minutes.”

“(The late winner) is a sign of a team that doesn’t give up, it’s a team that’s being built each day of the training session, each game.

“We are on that process. Every game for us a new chance, a new battle that we have to face – we will take a good look at the team that we’re going to play and try to make us better.

“We must improve each game because there is a long, long way to go.”

Goalkeeper John Ruddy admits Wolves made it difficult for themselves in Saturday’s late win.

He believes the sheer number of games being played by a fairly inexperienced squad may have led to the team’s sluggish first-half performance.

“I think it’s definitely part of it,” he said. “We’ve got a lot of new players who aren’t experienced in this league and to British football in general.

“When you’re throwing them in at the deep end....I don’t think we’ve had a midweek off since the start of the season so it does take its toll. There’s a lot of football to be played.

“But we never gave up, I thought we had the better of the game and didn’t give them too many clear cut chances which has been the story of most of the games.

“This league’s always been about a squad more so than a first XI. This season is massive for us in that sense – we’ve had games coming thick and fast and it’s showing no sign of slowing up.

“We have to make sure we’re on it every game and our application and pressure is there.

And on tonight’s opponents, the keeper said: “I watched the game on Sunday and they were very impressive.

“They played with a lot of energy – they play the same formation as us so it’ll be a good match-up and it should make for a good game of football.”

The level of delusion still remains high, despite their humiliation at our hands.

Our players are 'nobodies' who are just 'organised and play as a team'.

They've been led to believe that a players worth is in the transfer fee. Nope, sorry lads, that's just what you paid for them.
A players actual worth is what they bring to the team. If they can run, pass, block, tackle, intercept, cross, dribble, head, shoot and score then they're a good player.
It's as simple as that.

I'm pretty sure Wilder could pick a team of 11 Blades from the stands and they'd be passionate, organised and hardworking, but they'd still get trounced.

It's our quality that won us the game. Everything else should come as a minimum, and if they don't understand that then I pity them

Nineteen seventy fucking nine !

They do have a point though it's what happens now that's important that game symbolised a shift in power that lasted decades

Let's hope this one does too

I bet they said the same after Huddersfield beat them.

In my opinion most of our players are better than most of theirs. If their chairman like to spend millions on players because he's heard their name, rather than invest in a scouting network, than that's his perogative.

Well its got them two defeats on the BOUNCE, perhaps Leeds could make it three on the TROT.

The difference between our players and there lot is that ours would run through a brickwall wall for the manager and the fans, with a fair helping of skill aswell.
