On the pitch it doesn't seem that bad, but sat high up in the stand that day it was definitely a clash.

I hate the club, but the Wet Sham shirt is very smart and I think the Liverpool and Arsenal shirts are decent
No ones saying we shouldn't have 3 kits from what I've seen?
I am. Vehemently so. Fucking 3rd kits are a total marketing profiteering rip off and are utterly utterly unnecessary. How hard can it be to design a change strip that doesn't clash with the home strip? Fucking 3rd kits get my goat. Well, it's just a shirt after all and as so many folk have rightly said on here I'm not gonna bleat about a shirt...so it's the concept of the 3rd kit that actually gets my goat. ( I should add that I don't see how this shirt will clash with the Man Utd/Liverpool red...although maybe just maybe depending on how much white is on the home shirt maybe maybe away at Leeds/Fulham...)
What if the third kit is this seasons white away kit? That's not to exploit anybody. The shirts are already in circulation and have been reduced in price. That way, we could wear the following kits at away games:
Arsenal - Pink. Or if that is deemed to clash, White (black shorts)
Villa - Any
Brighton - Any
Burnley - Any
Chelsea - Any
Palace - White or Pink
Everton - Any
Fulham - Pink
Leeds - Pink
Leicester - Any
Liverpool - Pink or White
Man City - Home or White... You'd think pink would be OK, but my lad is colour blind and confuses sky blue with pink.
Man Utd - Pink or White
Newcastle - Pink or White
Southampton - Pink or White
Spurs - Pink
WBA - Any
West Ham - Any
Wolves - Any
So much so that United didn’t sell their 3rd kit last season!Fucking 3rd kits are a total marketing profiteering rip off
Just checked online and all the XXL and XXXL shirts already sold out, thought tubby middle aged men weren't into this kit?

Maybe because there wouldn’t be much call for it as most people wouldn’t have shelled out for it a second time just for a different sponsor on the front.![]()
the home kit on that site is an absolute beauty footballtown.com/products/the-blades![]()
The Blades Away
Pure and exclusive fashion product, no official claim Premium t-shirt crafted in Portugal 100% high quality cotton and embroidery Cool packaging Machine washfootballtown.com
That would've made a good away kit imo

If it was a marketing rip off, they’d have released it anyway wouldn’t they? No matter how small the change?Yep. I'll take your point.about the use of something that already exists (in some circumstances) but really there should never even be a conversation about this. And to stringer my point was about launching a third new kit as being a marketing rip off. Using a previous kit is not that and I get that. But really, I just don't see any need for it. If it's about using different colours as a change strip in order to not clash then use a colour that is not going to clash. Simple. Otherwise if it's about keeping within the club colour scheme then let's always just have 3 change shirts - a red, a white and a black one - available as change strips options, with the same options for shorts, and pick whichever one is most suitable.
I haven't seen it mentioned by the club anywhere, although technically we haven't got any season ticket holders at the minute.Do season ticket holders still get a discount in the shop these days? Been that long since I've bought anything from there.

behind Wednesday again, with the 5 people who bought the 10 year season tickets!
The material of both shirts isn't great compared to the last couple of seasons (although that's probably a little harsh as the last couple have been excellent quality). The home shirt somehow feels a little worse than the away one, even though they both seem to be made using the same stuff.
Not keen on the collar on the home one, but the Tetris effect they've gone with on the red stripes is discreet enough for it to be barely noticeable.
Away shirt is good, really like the "camo" effect they've gone with. It's more "pink snooker ball" than "pink highlighter".
Away > Home.
Yeh they are, even the red on the home shirt is see through when you hold it up to the light! They're super thin. I do prefer the last 2 season's climalite stuff, over the new Aeroready material but I suppose it's a piece of performance clothing not a t-shirt and being thinner and more breathable is a good thing for the players.
