Is it just me who thinks nearly every other team has alot better players than us,it's just the wilder factor that makes us competitive. We've had a great run but now everyone else is just blowing us out the water money wise ,we're just not there financially. I'll take 17th any day.

Because I've made a bet!? How hard is that to understand? I dont give to charity think of that what u will. I pay my dues through taxes

So what if this is Wilder's worst run of matches since he took over? He's been in charge for over 4 years and transformed us from a mid table L1 team to almost qualifying for Europa League in that time. Our managerial team at the helm is the envy of the majority of football clubs in this country that wish they also could be transformed completely from the wilderness to being really competitive among the elite! Admittedly these two weren't as outstanding last season as much as we'd hoped but it was never going to be easy for us or them with it being the first season in the Prem, which if you've quickly forgotten still ended in success and exceeded beyond what we could've imagined. Now however they are a season wiser at this level and also a season wiser playing in our unique system, at least neither are going to become any worse and in all likelihood will only improve.

So get a grip, it's too early to be this worried but it is OK to be concerned as am I. However I'm not throwing the towel in just yet and neither are CWAK and our team. They've all worked immensely hard to get to this level and not a single one of them will want to throw it all away all of a sudden.

Christ man I think you are the one who is over reacting! When did I say we were going to get relegated?

I said and offered the reasons why we aren't doing very well. To me and some who have played the game at professional level Sheff Utd have been more affected by the lack of crowds. Querying that are we? The lack of money querying that too? Lack of goals last season - not queried that one either?

Take Brewster. I suspect - but it is merely a guess, that we cant afford him at £20m, that is why (if true) we have enquired about a loan with purchase at the end. Whether that is acceptable to Liverpool we'll see.

As for second season syndrone, that is a bit obvious isn't it? You do better than expected you drop off a touch and bang get punished. But two games is nowt but 5 is a bit of a longer run. It is five because many numpties on here cant figure out that is the number of games played since a win.

The real concern for me is why everytime we start a season or post lockdown we are always such slow starters? Bit of a problem there.

You seem to be making the error of judgement that because we 'nearly made Europe' we'll be ok. What I was suggesting was a not unreasonable proposition of why since last Spring we've not been that good . . . . and it's a combination of factors. The most crucial being lack of goals.

We did this off course first season back in the Championship but I think we all agreed it was the loss of Coutts. Not scoring enough goals is a much bigger problem when you have an ageing legend and a somewhat lacklustre strike partner up front.

No we haven't.

With myself. I've said if he scores 10 goals in 2 consecutive seasons I'll give 100 to children's hospital, infact make it this season. Since when has the children's hospital been a charity? Its part of the NHS! That's my bet with myself and ill honour it, let's not get into anything this thread isn't about 👍🏻

Infact I never made a bet i basically made a promise that if he scores 10+ goals in a season within 2 prem seasons I will donate. So how ever or which ever way your trying to twist this or make yourself sound/appear superior in some way or belittle others then I wouldn't waste your time. Your obviously somebody that will try to pull others down for their lack of spelling or ability to put down there points in words.
