If they don't give him the funds then that decision to not give him money is a bad decision but doesn't make the appointment a bad decision surely. The appointment was a great decision and will stay that way regardless.
I think they are going to give him the funds, read it back, what i'm saying is that if for some reason they weren't going to give him the funds then what was the point of making the appointment in the first place when he quite clearly needs them, thus making it a bad decision to appoint him. No manager can work without tools.

Adkins would not have come IMO , if not been given guarantees of funds being made available . You cannot always make a silk purse out of a pigs ear . He is a great appointment , and the board will back him with funds .

Neither the board or Adkins want , or can afford another failure , on there CVs.

A stab in the dark but I reckon you tell people to sit down at the game?

What a strange stab in the dark that is. Can we assume from this that people who stand at games are a bit thick and can barely write their own name, but if you sit, you're a shoe in for the next Booker (that's the literary prize not the former midfielder)?

Assume what you like, I just don't agree with making other blades feel daft about their grammer.

I prefer to stand but I still like people to know when to use 'there' and 'their' correctly - this isn't pre school and we can all still learn summat - no matter where it's learned from.
No probs people making a mistake (especially with thumb typing and predictive on moby's) but there's the chance to improve their grammar a tad - see what I did there?
