Roygbiv will always be the undisputed king of this thing of course, but I was curious so I had a look around the Championship forums. It makes very pleasant reading for the most part.

I've omitted Brentford, Reading, Millwall and Preston because weirdly, we aren't the hot topic of discussion on those forums.

Also missing is Leeds and the Pigs as they are covered elsewhere.

In summary: Most think we're great, Dull and Naaaaridge hate us.

Tempted to sign up to the Derby board (my personal opinion of DCFC is rather slanted) just to correct the couple in the minority that thought we were no better than them at The Lane bar the three "gifted" goals.
They seem to have overlooked the fact that in the first half we barely let them have a kick.

I have a message saved from last season from a Derby mate who watched us beat Chesterfield in the last match . He didn't think we were anything to worry about and were a bit lucky to win on the day (to an extent we were) until I pointed out to him that the players had pretty much been out on the piss for two weeks solid before that game.
He went on to state that we'd need to spend on a whole new (quality) defence for this level..... so far we've added third division & fourth division fullbacks and a 19 year old Spurs academy player with no previous first team experience..... the only defender with Championship experience we've signed has missed most of the season so far.
I'm saving that message, hoping I can remind him of it come May.

Wolves fans are a bit of an arrogant bunch

Wolves are rather arrogant twats. Almost on the pig scale.

Edit. Great minds

We totally outplayed Wolves, even when they had eleven on the pitch. The sending off was a consequence of our dominance, not the reason for it.

Arrogant, deluded fuckers.

A little bit of success or promise can go to the heads of football supporters. When we last came down from the PL a few of our supporters had a slight sense of entitlement and expectation as well.

I saw the same from Burnley supporters when they first got relegated back down under Owen Coyle and every time Hull have come back down. They have that little taste at the top table or even that expectation that they could get there and all of a sudden it elevates their opinion of the club. Almost to the level of outright snobbery.

What none of them realise is that we are all one of the rest. If you’re not a top six club, you’re simply making up the numbers. That’s the bigger picture and it’s why we should just enjoy what we have at the moment. It’s the most fun any club like ours will ever have.

Cheers for that Tyler. Enjoyed reading those forums

A few of comments that stood out and made me smile:

Hull fan: "I punched the air when The Blunts winner hit the net, and instantly had to have a word with myself."

Mackems fan: "Watch the game with my 9yr old lad. He said to me "Dad, we are a million miles away from Sheff Utd and we were 2 divisions apart last season"....scary."

Mackems fan: "He's won as many league matches in one day (CW) as bollock face has won in his entire Sunderland career. Chow on that son." :D

Some proper melts on the Wolves forum.

Jesus, they're awful. I fancy them to do well, but they haven't looked like runaway winners by any stretch. In fact, over the last 10 games we have an 80% win ratio and they have a 66% win ration in third place. Villa better than them over same time period.

I actually fancy Wolves to run away with it at some point. I thought they were the best team we’ve faced this year, even with 10 men. If they’d have scored the pen when they got it I’d have put a lump on them beating us - kept the ball very well and obviously have some very good players at this level.

This whole 'momentum' thing is starting to grate. By saying that it suggests we're basically an average team just riding the crest of a wave, whilst ignoring the fact we actually lost 2 out of our first 3 games this season (and were slightly lucky to win the first). Surely that start to the season is our momentum gone straight away?

In what way were we lucky to beat Brentford? I can’t recall luck playing any part whatsoever.

What the fucks going on? People are actually beginning to like us:confused:

The Burton fan that said "I didn't rate Duffy when he was here. I think (Swervin') that I called him the poor man's Nasser El Khayati.
The fact he's started playing great under Chris Wilder is just unfortunate for us." - totally misses the point. The fact the fact he's started playing great under Chris Wilder is because he's playing under Chris Wilder.
