Adkins just isn't up to the job. If this were any other place of work he would've failed his probationary period and be asked to leave.
I can't see him being here next season and I hope I'm right.

He might have brought "two kids" on but they put their hearts into it . They were no lesser players than those already on the pitch and Lewin was screaming at Brayford to put it through for him a number of times. In fact I would say Brayford wouldn't pass to him.

I think we are at a low point [hopefully] and there is much wrong to discuss and everyone has much to offer, just feel it is all better and adds to the debate [or makes you feel even worse] if its all together.

One thing I can't stand about BM is how everyone on there starts a new thread if they want to comment.

I find this site a much better medium to discuss the Blades, it just dilutes the debate if its all spread over 8/9 threads instead of being in really good one.

I know people want to rant and rave on a night like tonight but when a new thread is started 30/40 minutes after one that already exists on the subject.

It's not aimed directly at you JD just a comment on the general situation about threads.

I assumed that to.

The seniors players clearly don't give a shit and are hanging another manager out to dry.
 
I think Adkins has admitted defeat over this season and is looking to give the youngsters some game time before the next. It may also be a sign of displeasure at the underperformance of some of the senior players. The results achieved by the U21s and U18s are one of the bright spots in this dismal season.
Remember chatting to Micky Adams shortly before he was given the boot. He admitted it was a tough job but it's harder when you have to work with people you'd rather not work with.
Give Adkins the time to create his own team and then judge him
 
We are losing at home, one sub left, shall I bring salmon on? shall I bring Reid on? shall I bring Flynn on? No I will bring on a defender who has been here around 24 hours for another fuckin defender, I do not think jmac was injured, even if he was we still had four defenders on the pitch, can someone tell me the logic in bringing on Baptiste to try and win the game? Oh thats it, he pushed Brayford over to stop the threat on there right, I could not believe that decision.

Like I've said to this all season who the hell are we gonna get to get us promoted next season who would realistcly come to a league 1 club instead can see he's trying out different things to find players that will be good for a promotion side next season he's said all season that were not good enough at least he's still trying and not given up if hed given up on us hed have left already the guy is here for the long run and the only money he's been able to spend this season is what we made from selling other players

You may be right and the tone of his interview alludes to that too. However his substitutions have been that utterly woeful all season part of me actually thinks he may have thought they were the right players to bring on in that situation.

We cannot let damaging cliques of players run the club.

Flynn and Sammon have been abysmal this season. He probably felt eighteen year old Reed needed a rest?
