I'm convinced that Kevin McCabe isn't a cunning, manipulative, money driven madman. He's just lost in a world he doesn't understand.

The last 5 years have been littered with bad decisions and every time you can see who might have advised him and who really let him, and us, down.

Warnock wanted a weak club chairman that he could walk over, so he persuaded McCabe to promote Terry Robinson.

Robinson was Man Utd obsessive and wanted nothing more in football than to work with and save his hero Brian Robson. Kevin was always keen to rely on advice and the truly tragic decision was made.

Such was McCabe's subsequent lack of confidence that he hired an upmarket football executive, that we couldn't afford, to finally get it right. Birch got it wrong 3 times.

Now he's asked the only person left at the club that he trusted and who probably advised against Speed and Adams. Chris Morgan made the case for his old mate Danny Wilson.

The irony is that the 2 appointments that McCabe probably had most to do with, Warnock and Blackwell, he got broadly right. Lets hope i'm wrong about Chris Morgan.

There has not been a master plan for a while now.

I think it got lost on the flight to Belgium.
