So how will we all react to him when he runs towards the Kop ?
As much as I want to boo him I really don't have it in me to do so.
I will probably applaud him although I fully respect the people who do boo him
Opinions anyone

Paddy has done nowt wrong at all for me - just looking after number one - as were United when we offered him the release clause.

How was the release clause in our interest? Surely that was put in their for Paddy's benefit?

Booing is too good for the twat. He is going to hear things which will bring tears to his eyes.

Keep him away from the goalline. He might end up sniffing them

If everyone else does I'm going to be a hypocrit and shout you fat bastard when he takes a goal kick, annoyed me when away fans did it cause he isn't even fat but he is a twat now so I shall be joining in

I wont be booing him, but I no longer have any respect for him either. The booing of players is something that I find a little childish (unless its Stephen Hunt).

He was a good servant to the club up to the beginning of last season but has been swayed by greed to choose money over moral decency. Thats up to him, its his life. All in all, I will be taking a neutral stance. He will neither get a boo or applause from me, he doesnt deserve either.

Not that I encourage it, but I'm sure if someone were to be particularly cruel, one could liken his loyalty to that of his ex-missus...

I should imagine that the comparison would cut quite deep.

:D

Im sure someone will come up with a chant along those lines Linz..... Not that i could do it mind

I won't boo him, I think as with every transfer that the fans were not told the truth by the club and this goes for most things at the moment, I bit of honesty would go a long way ...

I think that a well observed silence would be very disconcerting, and very sinister

If you could guarantee it that would be the greatest of all. Won't happen though. Boo and abuse is what he deserves and what he will get. I'm all for looking after number one but shitting all over the very people who have stood by you for 9 months then milking the reception when you came back, telling everyone you owe the club etc. If I were his former employer I would say his loyalty is at best questionable.

Or everyone turning their back on him as his name is read out.

I should imagine that'd unsettle him...

Perhaps the best one would be if everyone on the kop held up a photo of the guy who was doing his wife as Paddy comes towards it.
Or get the name of the guy and sing "There's only one whoever" to him

I've got to admit the 2 thing's that we should do are what Sean The Blade suggests & Linz. As he's coming over to the kop, we should observe the silence & as he walks towards the goal everyone on the kop then turn their backs on him & the John Street & Cherry Street stands also if they want to.

See, the way I see it, Paddy and Warnock would revel in the abuse.

But silence and shunning would be like when your Mum wasn't mad, just very very disappointed.

That's far worse!

Won't boo as I am not a "booer", I do want him to have a shite game tho and be directly responsible for at least 1 goal so I can sing "what a waste of money"

I would normally restrict booing to cheating , a'la Steven Gerards Penalty & the excuse for a ref who awarded it against Morgs,

However , regretably on this occasion, I think his 20 peices of silver deserve the same treatment,

Although I do like the Silence option with the turning of the backs towards him as he approaches the Kop if we could arrange for everyone to do that.

But what will be our reaction to Neil Warnocks part in all this ?.

I'm not totally convinced that he's the ...... that a lot seem to think he is. None of us know the full story.

I'm disappointed that he's gone, but won't be booing him.

I think the best thing if people want to express their disappointment in him would be to turn their backs on him. Just imagine if all the Kop did that....

I'll bet he's "injured" for that match anway

Pre-match song selection

“It’s just yer money I’m after baby” by The Wonderstuff
“Dirty cash (Money talks)” by The Adventures of Stevie V
“Leaving so soon?” by Keane
“The drugs don’t work” by The Verve
“Secret Lover” by Atlantic Starr
“Good Riddance” by Green Day

Gary Sinclair, please take note...

The silence and back turning would work better than booing, however has said before, there's no way everyone will do it and that's the only way it would be effective so it'll have to be booing and chanting

Whilst I understand the reasons given that he's looking after his own interests, I shall be roundly booing, as a part of supporting my own team in trying to unsettle the opposition.

'Whore like your missus, you're just a whore like your missus.
Whore like your miss...us, you're just a whore like your missus.......'

Back turning and silence would be far better than booing. If he's got the brass neck to do what he's done then a bit of booing isn't going to bother him when he knows he can just go home and count his money.
It would be virtually impossible to get everybody to do it though without putting a leaflet on everyones chair prior to kick-off, advert in the Star, tannoy announcement etc.;)
As for Warnocks part in all this. Doesn't it reinforce my view that he's not the Blade he likes to make out?

Spread the word ;)
