I agree with what yiu are saying but the inference of other posters was that he was obliged to sign.

I thought this was the case, that Wolves invoked the extension and it became so rather than it being an agreement, happy to be corrected.

Just a shame it ends when it does I was looking forward to the bit where we signed Stearman instead of EEL

I don't think EEL is good enough or consistent enough for the Championship yet. His positional sense is dreadful and his decision making is not great. Good move for him and Wolves.
