I think us and and blue and white half of Sheffield should be joint 1st with the amount of goals conceded in the 90th+.
However, it may be quite stressful to think about, but out of curiosity which goals stand out to YOU as the most painful to concede in the last minute.

For me its: Vinclolet (v orient H 14/15), Hopkin (THAT ONE), Stein or kjeldbjerg (Chelsea 93/94), Any more?

Utb!

Stein and Hopkin. One that I think about a lot though is Kevin Phillips last minute winner in the 1st game Aug 08. That game ends in a draw and all other results the same through the season and we'd have been promoted automatically to the premiership.

Even though it was meaningless, Scot Bennett's equaliser for Exeter with literally the last kick* of the season really razzed me off.

*it was a header

Hopkin, though it was the only bit of quality throughout the ninety minutes of a dire game.

Stein. No contest. My worst moment ever as a Blade.

Hopkin was also awful, but doesn't hurt quite as much given how poorly United played against Palace.

Hopkin and Stein obviously. Simmo's howler against the Pigs in the Ched season, made all the worse as I'd traveled over for the match.

Saturday's hurt too. It was my 6-year-old's first game and it would have been extra special if we'd held on.

I've now not seen us win for 6 years!

Obviously Stein and Hopkin.
Remember one year at Wolves. We were 2-0 up (Nathan Blake scored one cracker I think) then Wolves scored two in injury time to draw. I was gutted.

Edit: just found it on youtube. Brings back how miserable I was on the way home all over again.

Hopkin for me purely as I was there (and wasn't for Stein). Feel sick just thinking about it.....still. Right where's the Leeds Worthington cup goals to cheer me up.

I've never seen this goal, as we'd decided enough was enough with 10 to go and so left their laughably named "Big Bank". I'm assured it was due to another Simmo balls up, but at least it didn't really matter by that time. Could you imagine if we'd managed to grab a winner against Stevenage and it was *this* goal that sent the Pigs up?

As an aside, I now have a very healthy dislike for Exeter City. Bunch of utter fucktards, especially the wankstain who paraded round their terrace wearing a Pig shirt. Not one for terrace violence, but would like to think he received a healthy portion of shoe pie that day.

For some very weird reason, apart from the obvious ones (Stein, Hopkin), Saturday's equalizer was one of the real downers for me. It is almost worse if it happens in run-of-the-mill games because the pain and annoyance still kills your weekend but you cannot rationalize it in the same way: of course you are depressed if it happens in a game that matters. But Leyton O in mid-October?

Plus on Saturday we went from painful defeat to deserved win in stoppage time ourselves so holding on would have been magic.

The only other time a late goal in a meaningless match hurt as bad was Oldham at home two years ago. I think it was the "ball-boy" game if I remember correctly. That day we were atrocious. But were winning late on despite not deserving it. As on Saturday, the ref played a lot longer than allocated, and Oldham also got a goal with the last kick. Gutted was an understatement.... Even the goals were similar, Bramall Lane end, left wing cross, hardly any resistance to the scorer.
