be honest, if that was a blades player what would your reaction be?

The game of football is ace. Sadly, many who are paid to play it are thoroughly dislikeable.
Ramos gets up to all sorts of shit like tonight every season, he's a despicable fucker and I don't know how any Real Madrid fan can truly support him as one of their own.
I stopped giving a fuck about England when we had Sven's celebrity team that picked itself and had the gall to call themselves the "golden generation". For that I loathed them and was glad none of that team were United players. How can you cheer for and support someone you can't fucking stand?

When Peter Withe returned from a loan spell away, having played against us, scored twice and rather enthusiastically celebrated his goals, my old man got up and left bramall lane as soon as Withe appeared from the tunnel, such was his disgust that he wouldn't watch the man, let alone cheer for him.

They support him because they love that sort of thing in Spain. I've played a bit in Spain myself and it really is annoying how it's virtually a non-contact sport and the fans love the play acting

As for Ramos, he's a complete wanker. All the talent in the world and he has to act like a prick at every given opportunity. He also seems very angry

It's how modern football is, English players are no different even in the lower leagues.

If FIFA aren't going to clamp down on it then it will continue to happen and any team would be stupid to not act the same as they are only putting themselves at a disadvantage.

The referee and linos should be able to watch a re-run of the game, and dish out cards where they missed the incidents first time round.,

It's very different in England in the lower leagues, I've experienced it. In the higher leagues it's becoming more accepted but I think it's because we now see people like
Ramos getting away with it more and more often

Surely that today heightens the need for a video referee in the stands. Ref could have referred it like in Rugby and the video ref would have said nah... book Ramos instead

If they did that and sin binned them for diving. They'd soon pack it in

Sharp showed the correct way to behave when Gardner slapped him in the last match of the season.
Stood there, took the slap, and merely asked the referee if we was aware of the attack.

(But he did laugh when the red card was produced!)

trying to juggle bgt & CL final i recorded last 35 mins of 2nd half. watched it hr ago & i was fuming when it happened to a point i still am now. i put on match thread its unforgivable what he did & a disgrace to football. there is cheating & there's that, scraping the barrel of morality. cuaduaro just wanted to take a throw in & if we are going to see players getting red cards/2nd yellow cards for a tap if that. then we going to see 20 red cards every game

on sheff utd angle. I agree with rio Ferdinand "if my son saw me do that. id be embarrassed to look him in the eye". & its one of those id hope wilder rip any of players a new one. because if rather lose fairly that win like that

Wasn't able to watch the whole game, but from the first 20 minutes or so, Juventus looked like they were trying to fake tripping into a paddling pool to get £250 from You've Been Framed at times.

Disgraceful. Hopeful that the crackdown will do something, because at it's most basic level, diving just makes you look like a twat, as a grown adult, very little should have you rolling around on the floor holding a body part, if people on Helicopter Heroes that have come off motorbikes look less pained than a footballer that tripped over on a tuft of grass, something needs doing.

Was pleased to see that Chelsea player get sent off in the FA cup final for diving, hope it continues.

Ramos getting the Juve player sent off was a disgrace.....

They had pretty much won the game fgs.

There was no need for it.

I actually think in general , the English players are the most honest ..very few behave like Ramos did , and many of the foreigners that arrive to play in England learn very quickly , that sort of malarkey is not on

You can stick Carles Puyol in this category too.

What a disgrace of a professional footballer - rolling around on the floor whenever a decent tackle was made on him.

I had the pleasure of watching RTE and listening to the 'expert bumditry' of that clown Eamonn Dunphy.

Cuadrado deserved to go for being stupid and it was clear he'd stamped on Ramos apparently.

The Madrid bias was unreal, Juve is a team of rejects and he has no idea where they will go from here. I can't believe they pay this idiot.

Funny thing is, he goes in for the tackle like Nobby Stiles, and then collapses like a house of cards after the slightest touch. Pathetic cheating, he should have been sent off himself.
to be fair juventus had been systematically kicking lumps out of all and sundry in the previous 80 minutes

It happens all the time in the Spanish league, Neymar, Suarez and others roll around trying to get another player booked or sent off.

A shame because they have the quality to avoid a challenge and carry on with the play.

Hopefully the booking of Victor Moses in the FA cup final will be the start of a crackdown on things like this.

I must admit I never see much of the play-acting and cheating when I watch league 1, league 2 or Vanarama on the box

Only thing I can really recall last season was Carruthers diving v Bolton.
