Norwood has always had a concentration issue and gets caught on the ball but everyone is doing it now. Stevens is shocking for getting caught out.

Fleck is the biggest falloff I've seen for ages. Looks like a 50 year old fat bloke playing 5 a side after a carvery sometimes.

I would love to know what’s going off behind the scenes because something sure as shit is. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t Chris Basham’s biggest fan when he first came to us but he fucking won me over. Fit as a flea, never hides, never less than 100%, loves the club and looks like this season is breaking his heart. I’m not naming names but some of our supposed better players on more money, need to take a good look at Chris Basham to see what commitment to the cause is.

Fleck was just giving stupid fouls away and grinning towards the end. Norwood was shockingly slow and ponderous on the ball. Stevens is shit scared of doing anything positive with the ball. Mousset is a massive waste of a squad number. Brewster looks like an expensive mistake but I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt for now. Robinson is what he is, an average Championship defender. Osborn huffs and puffs and cares but isn’t very good. Berge is another expensive mistake and needs selling. McBurnie might be ok in the Championship but is woefully poor in the PL. Sharp might be ok in the Championship. Burke is a proper horse with a beach ball, no quality at all. Ramsdale is an average keeper, not even as good as say Ian Bennett from yesteryear. Ampadu is a waste of a loan and offers nothing. Jags is old and needs to retire ASAP.

Egan, McGoldrick, Basham and Baldock are the ones who are decent and deserve any credit this season.

Brewster will be good in a few years, probably for someone else, but us buying him when we had no goals in us is like buying a plot of land with no planning permission when you're about to be made homeless.

Unlike the OP I don't think the players are letting Wilder down, they're not good enough apart from the four obvious exceptions who've already been mentioned.

We haven't signed one player who looks like they're of PL quality in the last three transfer windows, and I include Berge in that - which may be slightly unfair - but have we even missed him, even with a midfield of Ampadu, Osborn and McGoldrick?
