Not 'arf. Last season Derby, Forest, Bristol City, Preston and Middlesbrough were strong - this season they're pathetic. Leeds are bottling it (as usual). There was also Villa and Norwich in there too. And five penalties helps as well.

I really, really hope Leeds bottle it again, but even by their standards, I can't see it this time. There's not enough competition. There's no way the current Leeds or West Brom squads would've competed last year, but there's just no depth to the division this year. Look how well a bang average PNE side are doing!

I can't see Leeds bottling it, I hope they do, Fulham would be a far more fitting candidate for promotion. It's my personal opinion, but I hope that the top flight never sees Leeds again. That club has a horrible ego.

Can you imagine the size of the squad overhaul they'd need to be even remotely competitive in the Premier League if they did manage to get up? Bannan might be alright, maybe Westwood, but the rest? Nowhere near. They could spend £100million (if they have it) and it not be enough.

Let's face it; it'd be absolutely typical of them to escape the whole EFL fiasco and sneak up.

Hope Fulham sort out their consistency issues in the second half of the season. Hopefully at the expense of Leeds. A team with Mitrovic, Knockaert etc should be smashing this year’s Championship.

We’ve had McBurnie off Swansea, Robinson off Preston and Brighton have had Maupay off Brentford, all last seasons standout players for their respective clubs, there may be more, so in theory it weakens those clubs unless they’ve invested the money wisely. It’s telling how weak the league is when all 3 of these clubs are still competing towards the top end.
