The problem wasn't anti football as such today, we actually won the midfield and rarely looked for Clarke's head until Done came on. The problem today was we played all our football in front of their back four and at times in front of their narrow four man midfield, with no real idea how to break them down.
I was generally in favour of signing Clarke even though it's becoming apparent it's not working, but lets not pretend we'd be top of the league playing Sharp on his own. He had plenty of chances to hold the ball up at his feet today and more often then not lost it and then threw himself on the floor.
