We had lots of possession. We didn't have enough shots on goal in comparison to the possession we had.

In the next several games, I would imagine that the manager who is experienced at getting clubs in this division promoted, will work with our players to capitalise on the possession and increase the number of shots we have on goal.

As a result, I would expect we'd convert a decent percentage of those shots on goal into actual goals, and score more than the opposition over 90 minutes. This would allow us to claim a 'win', which would, in turn, provide 3 points - the optimum number of game day points when seeking promotion.

Of course I may be wrong, but then I am just a single fan who has watched a single game this season

It’s early Sunday morning I know, but I can’t work that post out.
I read it & for some reason did so in a German accent after ‘the next several games’.
‘3 points is the optimum number of game day points when seeking promotion.’
Dunno - maybe just me.
Agree though, shots on target in very short supply last night.

Compare this to the FA Cup game against Bristol City!
