That longed for day amongst Clappers when they can all get in a minibus and have a jolly lads day out at Chesterfield watching SUFC home games is getting nearer and nearer. Enjoy it lads.

I know we can't ban him, however can we stop him starting threads? He is so bitter, I can only imagine he has a face a mother would love.
 
I think Mic is really McCabe. These types of posts are classic psy-op. The more he posts hate on McCabe and the club, the more other supporters rail against it and end up siding with KMC. Gotcha!

At least they won the FA Cup in the last 90 years. When was the last time we won anything. Where's Len when you need him for support ........
 
Mica reminds me of the film '' the shawshank redemption '' always looking for fresh fish and boy does he catch some , me included , on a previous post , that other wumer M.B. extolling the deal Coventry had got off there new owners , '' is the way forwards via the D.V.S '' was saying leave BDTBL look at coventry look at how well they'll do being rent free etc,etc, know we have Mica comimg the opposite way, damn property speculaters , what ever ya do don't tell Bury , ohh to late they new owner is a ? , fresh fish , fresh fish. Man City perhaps . U.T.B.

It's not negative, it's an opinion on the future of SUFC.

I don't think many people really support United anymore. We are a completely meaningless football club in a joke league punching so far below potential as to be a humiliation for the proud city of Sheffield and citizens of the red 40%. The vast majority of sensible Blades realise this and therefore getting excited or upset about the results is something that has long gone. Watching SUFC is now purely a social event. I will be there hoping to watch a bit of decent football different to what is on offer in Sunday leagues but no doubt mainly laughing at the ineptitude on show from our lads whilst admiring how every other team in the section will retain possession better than us. All of that is no real problem - I am generally happy with my afternoons out at BDTBL.

What I cannot forgive is the way McCabe has destroyed our beloved club to such an extent that we have clappers who are happy to accept 3rd tier football and for as long as I am able to will continue my anti-McCabe rhetoric on the fine forum.

Come on Dog - your a businessman yer sen. You'd never pay rent to McCabe if you owned SUFC Ltd. Nobody would.

I would take a wild guess that these views are in the minority.

I go to games because I support Sheffield United and I want us to win. The social part before the game is good yes but my god there are better things to spend £400 a year on mate if you're no longer interested.

Also, if you weren't that interested, i doubt you'd be posting on here.

Like I said Matty I can live with spending £400 as a means of watching a game and of course I am still interested, having a few beers and being content with the thought that I have seen us compete with the big boys - even uder under McCabe I hasten to add!

What's the difference between "clappers who are happy to accept 3rd tier football" and "being content with the thought that I have seen us compete with the big boys" ;)

Big difference Chimmers. A small number of Blades see little wrong with McCabe and have no regard for the history or potential of the club. These small time Sheffielders do the club no favours at all and defend the incompetence which now transcends every level of our beloved club. To put it bluntly, they make me feel sick but I also admire their blind and silly optimism in some small way. This lot would still back McCabe if a new owner came in and moved the club.

Whereas me and many thousands more are just going for a few beers and and an afternoon out with no real concern about L1 football - we have no link with the playing staff and little respect for them and cannot really be classed as true supporters anymore. We hope to see proper, attractive football and yes we want the club competing in the Championship but deep down we know we have no hope under McCabe and prefer to bask in the warm memoirs of the few relatively great times at BDTBL. Thankfully we have seen us compete pretty well with the big boys.
 



Could be right, but there's not much anybody can do except wait and see what happens.

So far we've not sold anybody and brought in a few decent players. Hopefully bring in a few more.
As for behind the scenes, nobody really knows for sure what is going on.
Has McCabe lost the plot, lost his money, lost his bottle or is he slowly putting together a plot to screw us?
Nobody knows for sure, just have to wait and see what happens next.
