That if we hadn't fucked about with the ball in the last 3 minutes we would have got a credible draw. Yes I know only a draw but none the less a point on the board. The result of this is a tiny bit more confidence and as they say from humble beginnings something to cling to! But its like all the other Sheffield United teams always promise much but its is never to be! This is the Blades we're talking about and the footballing gods have given us too many happy times over the last few years. We are abject failures ……..so get used to it! I seemed to feel the last couple of years would be replaced at some stage with unhappiness, one step forward 3 back, eh? Remember Wigan's penalty at the lane and Webber hitting the post...……………..or even Don Givens' miss to send us to division 4, its just the natural order of things. I am 62 years old and have watched the Blades for 51 years (came from Manchester when I was ten). But I'll tell you one thing I have every reason to be a Manure fan but once I'd been to the Lane it was no competition for me even with all their glory and trophies. As we all say once a Blade always a blade and that is so true. I feel physically sick of where we are in the table, but never ever give up hope because that's all we have at the moment. I'm not suggesting we're gonna get out of this but even beating Derby's points tally would be music to my ears. So fear not we will be back but its all part of being a Blade and trust in Wilder. He's a young manager, who I'm sure by is own admission made mistakes but he's given us the best of times in the last few years lets not forget that! He deserves more respect than that! Disappointments………………..play off finals (been to them all) losing to the pigs in the semi final of the cup and losing to Newcastle and Arsenal when they were there for the taking!!! As Isaac Bell of Van Dorn detective agency say 'we never give up', so let us not give up! UTB Bobby

Same here, been there done that but love The Blades and our fans. Just to cheer everyone up a list of what not going to miss about the Premier League (if worst happens).
No cheating diving prema donnas
No waiting for the last game on M.of. Day and Lineker mug.
No VAR
No rubbish Kick off times
Looking forward to a Prem Team in FA cup.
No overpaid pundits trying to tell US what we already know.
Plenty of tickets for the away days
No Refs that think the Prem is all about them.
No watching of bang average players on exuberant wages when you know if you had the opportunity you would have been better.
Always look on the bright side, you could be a Day after Thursday supporter. Hope it cheers you up. UTB.

... we seemed to have lost our style. Last year we had a system and we stuck to it, it was brilliant to have a team with a plan.

The scenario at moment seems to be hope the other team don’t score and hope we fluke a goal.

Saying that realistically I don’t think Bryan, Lowe, Lunny, Burke, McBurnie, get in any other Prem team, so half the team are Championship quality.

But chin up Chris- I certainly want you in charge next year - but FFS give it a go the seasons gone - let’s play it on the floor and go for it.

I just want to be back supporting the lads & couldn’t give a fuck if it’s Luton away or
Liverpool away get me back.
It’s likely the next away game we’ll be able to attend will be in the championship but who cares, was a laugh last time wasn’t it.. UTB

I know we are struggling putting it mildly but that was fucking cruel

To be fair, there were a LOT of rubbish kick off times last time we were in the championship. Also i still think we'll stay up.

The MOST dissappointing thing is not getting that pschological lift from doubling our points tally!

Is it still going to be top half? Don't think I've forgotten you're little one-man wager...

The MOST disappointing thing are those fans proclaiming Wilder as the best option to get this 1/33 team into Second Tier champions.

The most disappointing thing is that we're only 6 points off 17th.

If we'd won at West Brom and held on for a point today things wouldn't look half as bad.

We're simply just not good enough and have fallen short every time we've had a chance to gain points this season!

I fear for what's going to happen to the club in the summer as major surgery is required and inevitably we will lose some players so the chances of us replicating what Bournemouth, Watford and Norwich appear to be doing in the Championship just ain't gonna happen!
The soul looks to have been ripped out of the club ☹️

You've missed the obvious one.... we'd see a few goals and wins.

To be fair most Blades find it quite painful watching us these days so non Blades won't exactly be clamouring to get us on first on MOTD.

Don't know anything about this deep stuff concerning the "souls" of clubs ( ;) ), but otherwise I see the situation being as it is, eye to eye, with you. As we go down, we can't expect an easy way back. The core of the players that got us up, they're just older. The players the club bought "for the future" will need to be sold. It's possible that we can't sell Rammers, though, as I can only see any Championship club to offer some £ 500k for him, reflecting his performances and real value. (It was some serious f*ck-up to spend £ 18,5m on him, imo.) I'm afraid we're looking for some 12 to 1000 years in the lower levels of the football pyramid. Not that I'd like PL. It just sucks that the team makes it up there, and are now a laughing stock.
