Seriously think we might get a cricket score. The lads will be smarting tonight, despite playing so so well.

Billy and McG to bag. Take your pick from elsewhere.

You don't think we looked motivated tonight?
I don't think we played that we'll tbh. We failed to break them down.
Motivation is ok but where's the 3 points?
We were toothless. That's why we need to improve signing wise.
Do you disgree?

No I don't, 'toothless' sums it up with us sometimes. I was just questioning the fact that you said we weren't motivated. I thought we had em by the throat for 45 minutes and looked well up for it most of the match. We just seem to lack good decision making and a good final ball in and around the penalty area. We didn't create nearly enough clear cut chances tonight and unless that improves we will once again become a team that is good for watch for 80 minutes but who continually drop points.

How to address this? I agree that we need to improve our options in January, but I don't think we lack finishers, it's more about quality and variety in the build up for me. I would like a powerful, pacy forward who can run at and stretch defenders with the ball, as well as competition for Duffy. Luke Freeman would have me gushing for England, but I doubt we can afford him, which is another matter entirely.

Can't motivate to hammer the pigs at their lowest ebb but we'll smash rovrum?
Da wot?

Bullshit. We were motivated. The sense of the OP is that we’ll be all guns blazing smelling goals after tonight. Someone is in for pasting.

Then we're kind on the same page. Dunno how well smash rovrum given that.

We*dy were in for a pasting....that didn't go too well did it.
I trust Wilder but we are packing in certain areas. If you take your.l red speks off that isn't too hard to see.

Ah yeh, that old “red tinted specs” chestnut. Well done.

We said we would do that to Wednesday. We dominate but cannot put teams to bed. Sadly theme will continue unless we get that extra class.

Some might have said that, I certainly didn't DB. Expected a long, frustrating night myself and that was what I got.

It’s true we didn’t break down a defence that would have done the Duke of Wellington proud, but that wasn’t down to a lack of motivation.

Talking to a Rotherham fan on the bus home. He described the Rotherham v Swansea game as the most one-sided he had seen until last night. In case you don't know Rotherham won.

Rotherham so far this season at home in the league - Won 4, Drawn 3 and Lost 1 - yep, in for a pasting!

Today's results mean we go top if we beat them - at least until the other results come in later on Saturday

We should win.

(I like Rotherham and their fans though, if we had ever gone out of business I think I could have become a Millers fan)
Me too. Watched them beat Scunthorpe in their PO semi final at the New York and saw them beat Shrewsbury at Wembley. Hope we do give them a pasting though but can't really see it.
I do like the New York stadium, leg room is fantastic. We sat in the front row and people can pass without you standing up.

Score wise, they don't really get pasted on their own patch

Small pitch is a bit of a leveller

I've seen a few games at the NYS and often the favs have been the away side and yet not seen any of the opposition teams dominate games.

It will be tight

They will put more of a fight up than that shower of pig shite did tonight. Be I tight game methinks.

Watched them against Bolton and they were the slightly better of two poor sides. Can't see anything but a win for Blades on basis of what I saw.

But.... neither Rovrum or Notlob were as poor as the Truffle Snufflers.
