I'd agree generally as even if he is not a supporter, it's likely his family or close friends would be, and therefore could bring into question his impartiality.

On the other hand, he could hate them as a Tranmere fan.

Wirral is a different fa to Liverpool. We cannot, gor instance, have Craig Pawson do one our games but we could have someone from Barnsley.

If you mean Lee Mason, he’s from Portsmouth, though he lives in Bolton.

On the whole Mike Dean was fantastic last night.

Most referees would give a foul for this but he recognised it as an excellent tackle.
