Made Stoke look very ordinary. Outplayed them all game. The sort of team that might snatch a win or draw from a set piece. Minimal contact and Crouch dived to win it.
That’s about all he’s good for these days. Hope his salary is bankrupting them.

No we are ordinary and please don't say sharp is quality because he was when he played for Southampton I do agree but he not now same as limp dog Chad evens we must start paying that little bit more then we have in years QUALITY IS NEEDED

The problem is, we don’t have any players who can win us a game with a moment of brilliance. We rarely score goals from set pieces. I can’t recall a game where we did a smash and grab for points we didn’t deserve.

So when our performances drop off, and inevitably they will, we will struggle for points. Our best players at the top of the pitch are all into their 30s now. Wilder is trying his best to rotate them and keep them fresh, but their legs will suffer in patches.

Tonight was a brilliant performance and it’s really disappointing to not come away with the win that it deserved, but I’m not sure anybody is to blame. We don’t always need to look for scapegoats and have an inquisiton every time we drop points.

Our manager has us setup to play football in a fantastic way, we dominate home and away against most teams. The extra little bit we’re missing costs more money than we can afford. I genuinely think we’d win the league with a top 6 budget. But c’est la vie. We just have to appreciate for now that we have a fantastic manager and team that are giving us everything they can.

Tactically poor in terms of team selection and subs. We would have scored more if the guy who is adept at scoring had played. That wasn't lucky, it was predictable and to make it worse the opposition weren't even in our league.

The "Sharp would have scored" claims made by some are pure "look at me" posts. Yes he should come on at least, but that guarantees nothing. Just padding out an opinion on a result that is clear to everyone that we should have won but will always concede trying to sit back. It's not as if a team going one nil down aren't going to press is it? Or that they know what we do and plan accordingly.

Sharp should have started and failing that come on as sub. What the fuck Washington does to get in ahead of him is a mystery. He reminds me of a cross between Matt Done and Road Runner. I'm sure you can justify it though, your blind faith won't allow anything else.
