Have I imagined it, or did Sheffield United lose 2-1 at Matlock on July 19th 2017?

If so, why are articles appearing in the media suggesting otherwise? This one appeared in The Star on Wednesday this week...

In another newspaper today I have read that Eastleigh are attempting to be the first team to break Sheffield United's unbeaten record.

This is all simply untrue.

Oddly enough, there was a comment added to the article in The Star on Tuesday, pointing out that the unbeaten run had been broken, but that comment was later removed.

So, what exactly is going on?

Why are the media putting out this story when it is patently false?

Have Bet 365 taken money on this and has that got something to do with it?

Or did we in fact NOT lose to Matlock last week and I've had a nasty bang on the head and imagined it?

As i said on the other thread on this subject, we haven't played since the end of April so all those days, hours, minutes or whatever quoted by Bet365 are entirely irrelevant.

We had an impressive unbeaten run at the end of last season, but for me non-competitive friendlies can't be included in an unbeaten run... Yes its nice that we're having a good preseason but that's all it is.

A new run will hopefully start next weekend.

This was an under 23 friendly and we played 3 over age players.Don't understand all this waffle it WASNT a first team match
just another one of the friendlies lined up for the.23 s.Eastleigh tonight will be classed as a 1at team friendly but I will be surprised if we don't make a lot of changes.I get the feeling this will bea low key match with one or two players coming back from injury we get some game time.
Eastleigh of.course will play as if there lives depended on it ,it's a game about fitness. but we probably will win anyway.
That would make it 13 on the bounce ( are you superstitious I like most of us would hope to finish with a win but for all superstitious blades may e it's best if we draw ; all in fun of course.

Nah. Summat has to happen other than a murder. Murders may result as people try to cover it up but there has to be something heinous, odious, shocking if it came out to begin with.

Some bikers smash up a local chippy and in the subsequent investigation Lieutenant Biggs (Hackman) uncovers violence and corruption bubbling under the annual 'Fireworks and Fancy Boats' festival.

You do know that he was stood down for that Matlock game.
You do know that, on the night, the team at Matlock, irrespective of their age, was managed by the first team coaching staff.
Making it a first team game, not a development game.
