The manager after Wilder’s successor

Neither. The question was asked ( not by you) about getting a new manager or stick with Wilder ?

If we are to get a new manager what is the benchmark ?. If we get a manager with Wilder's current record, or Basset's as you have previously mentioned, I can't see fans fans backing such an appointment.

Dont think anyone is suggesting that.

Not the question I asked,Silent. However Bassett took over when we were a basket case of a club. We aren't now mainly down to Wilder's leadership.

If/when Wilder leaves, would you want the club to employ someone who has only won 6 league games since lockdown. I wouldn't.

The club wont sack Wilder at the moment but I dont think Wilder will resign either as his stock will be low at the moment and may not get a bigger club than us. Therefore I hope Wilder will be wanting to prove a point next season. If we start off poorly...say the first 10 games..I will be surprised if he is still our manager in November

yes i think hes got while the end of october and if results are not good we will probably be looking for a new manager however i dont expect that to happen i expect us to be up there challenging and fancy us strongly for a top 6 finish

It pointless talking about management changes everyone but an idiot or a stirrer knows the fans will back Mr Wilder.
my worry is about the players themselves .
Like everyone else I've been shocked and disappointed about how badly most of them have performed this season, and no one most know this better than the players themselves,
BUT if the fans are back and they start playing anyway like they have at times this season, they will be in for a very rude awakening ...

There is an incoming DOF so the only choice really are the Cowleys.

They won't need to adapt to the style the players already have drilled into them.

It stops a need to put a new philosophy into the team. Not quite continuation but the best we can hope for.
