Sack Wilder!!!

Have Billy n Jags in charge for a couple of month.
Then hire Chris Wilder back as a new manager, get 100 points, ding!!!

Seriously though, let's not be so fickle. There's equal chance that you can win, lose or draw matches. You just have to take it. He has a proven record for us, and I say the good outweighs the bad. 4 out of 5 good seasons, come on guys.

Funny how we went from one extreme to the other post Warnock, looking for a manager that fitted the club.

Robson - Unemotional, monotone, no flair as a manager.

Adkins - Way over the top in terms of positivity, we could have lost 5-0 and he'd say something completely different than what the fans actually saw and spin it in a positive light. Nothing wrong with positivity, however his enthusiasm was cringy to me a lot of the time.

I remember the past where if we were looking for a manager we'd have just gone and got Brentford's or somebody's if he was doing well.

Shows the image this club has made for itself over the last 30 years that these managers would see it as a step down.

Wilder will eventually leave for becoming Blackwell Mark 2, and then we'll immediately give the job to Blackwell Mark 3.
We have some fans who don’t half spout some bollocks. This is in the top 3 of absolute laughable posts I have seen this year congrats.

Really ??
Let's try and get a manager from another club then

What you on about

I said after Wilder we won't get a manager who is employed by another club

Who am I supposed to be naming?

Are we looking for a recently sacked manager then? How ambitious is that?

Are you suggesting we do without one? Better still, stick with Chris?

If we needed a new manager would you be happy for the club to employ someone who has won 6 league games out of the last 36 league matches ?

...not according to the Wilder In/Out poll mate ....3 to 1 currently
I did say if we were to get a new manager( I.e. if Wilder left). I am pretty sure the majority of fans would not want a new manager with a similar recent record

I have to say we have had a few managers in recent times who come in and started bravely and on the front foot, and then gone more negative.

Wilson did, Clough did, Wilder has this season after making some sensible adaptations last season.

Just hope we can see the CW of previous seasons back next season.

My initial post said new manager ( ie not Wilder) so I am unsure why that poll is relevant . Would you want the club to employ a manager with 6 wins in 36 league games should Wilder leave?
Bassett won only 4 in 23 league games at Watford before he came to us

Not the question I asked,Silent. However Bassett took over when we were a basket case of a club. We aren't now mainly down to Wilder's leadership.

If/when Wilder leaves, would you want the club to employ someone who has only won 6 league games since lockdown. I wouldn't.

The club wont sack Wilder at the moment but I dont think Wilder will resign either as his stock will be low at the moment and may not get a bigger club than us. Therefore I hope Wilder will be wanting to prove a point next season. If we start off poorly...say the first 10 games..I will be surprised if he is still our manager in November

You are not making it clear.

Are you saying that another club wants Wilder to be their manager or someone is suggesting a different manager with a similar record to become our new manager?

Neither. The question was asked ( not by you) about getting a new manager or stick with Wilder ?

If we are to get a new manager what is the benchmark ?. If we get a manager with Wilder's current record, or Basset's as you have previously mentioned, I can't see fans fans backing such an appointment.
