As things now stand our nearest competition in the premier league is Newcastle to the north and Leicester to the south. Will there ever be a better opportunity for the club/investors to make a serious impact?

Catchment area? You think given the option somebody in Cleethorpes or Spalding is really going to work out which PL club is nearest to them this year and start supporting them, or just stick to being gloryhunting plastic pretend Mancs or scousers?

I’ve said it before, we only have one derby and that’s the Sheffield Derby. Anything else can be rivalry, but I don’t see them as Derbies.
